I ordered a pizza, wings and soda. It wasn't finally delivered until 45 minutes past the "anticipated delivery time". When it arrived, the pizza and wings were colder than the drinks and the boxes were warped from absorbing the water from the cooling food. I kindly refused the delivery and politely asked the driver to issue me a refund upon returning. I called the store a few minutes later, shocked to find that no one would answer. Thinking there was a possibility I was being ignored because of my complaint, I tried calling with my work cell phone, and still no response. Just for fun, I called back every 60 minutes until they closed and no one would answer. What kind of lousy pizza joint cant even take a call for business? So the next day, I call the store again, hoping I could speak to the site owner or a manager to remedy my $40 joke of an order. The manager assured me that it would be handled and a refund issued/posted within 1-3 business days. I thanked him for the helpful response and went about my business. 5 business days later, I am disappointed to see that the refund had not posted to my cc statement like I was assured it would. I decided to call the corporate office in MI, and was quickly able to speak to a customer service agent. I explained my story to the agent and her response/direction was for me to: Go online and fill out a form in as much detail as possible, submit the form and wait 3-5 days for it to be viewed and another 3-5 days for a determination to be made, THEN wait 3-7 business days for the refund/post to my cc. At this point, I tell this woman that I couldn't care less about the $40 at that point and that it was about the principle that I spent $40 to wait around and starve. I continued by saying that if I have to fill out a form in detail for your people to fix the issue YOU created, then I'll fill that form out on the BBB website. Shocked, this woman proceeds to tell me to hold on and that she would transfer me to their top manager of customer service. She then HUNG UP ON ME...... When I called back, she decided better of it and played it off as an accident. I spoke to the clown that heads the customer service department where she proceeds to tell me that each location is a franchise, so the only power the corporate office has is to reach out to the store's owner and ask them to refund my money. She continued by saying IF the owner approved the refund, it would be 8-14 business days until it would post to my cc statement. At this point, I was fed up and informed her that I've now heard 3 different refund timelines from 3 people who are extremely unhelpful and from 3 CLOWNS that think my time is less valuable than $40 bucks. She asked me to email her my invoice for proof of purchase and that she would personally take care of it and get back to me when she has done so. I know I know, y'all are shocked to hear that she never called me back and the refund never came. I signed up for the rewards program and placed my order online at 7:45 pm for a pickup from the 3004 Wake Forest Rd location at 9 pm. At 7:46 pm I received a Thank You For Placing Your Order email. Their website said they close at 11 pm. I arrived at the store at 8:26 pm and the door was locked and the open sign was not lit up. I went to the vegan restaurant next door and placed a to go order. Upon coming outside I went to take a picture of the store being closed so that I could notify their Corporate office that not only had I received no communication that I was not going to receive my order but also that they were closed early. While taking the picture, I noticed there were people in the back walking around. I knocked on the door but no one came to the door. Then I receive a call from a worker at that location at 8:59 pm. He proceeds to tell me they closed at 9 pm. I said your website says you close at 11 pm. He said my manager has not had the chance to update it yet. I said I got here at 8:26 pm and you all were closed then. I asked did ya'll not make the $43.85 order that I placed? He told me no. I asked why not. He said because we close at 9 pm and there was no reason for us to make it. I asked him why they did not send me an email to cancel my order or why didn't they call me at the time of the order to notify me. At that point, I realized, I was getting no where with the employee and I asked to speak with the manager. He put me on hold and no one ever came back to the phone. Read moreI placed an order over the phone at the ten ten location. I asked for a pepperoni ny style pizza and a pepperoni Detroit pizza. I get home and both these pizzas are cheese. I call back to the store I am mad to say the least but I keep calm. I sit and decide to eat the pizza with my family which were absolutely starving! As we are eating the manager calls back. I could hear immediate attitude in her voice from the time I answered the phone until the time I hung up. I explained to her what happened even admitted it was my fault that I should have checked my pizzas before I left. She tells me that she doesn’t know what I want her to do as I explain that I am not looking for anything free. I then ask if she is a supervisor because again her tone is absolutely the WORST. She then tells me that she is an “OWNER” and I asked just an owner of that one or ALL of them she then tells me that has NOTHING to do with anything and that she is about to end the call. Again I was the one who drove 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back. Not to mention superbowl was the 1st time I had ever had this pizza and I told her it was better superbowl night than tonight.. AGAIN explaining to me that she is the “OWNER” I have never in my entire life dealt with someone trying to throw their weight around. I will NOT be ordering here again due to her being there.
