I hate to do this but I feel really upset about this whole situation. I have been a member there for 5 years, and I booked an appointment and told them that I wanted to spend the rest of my wallet money as I was about to move to Spain. I wanted to get injections in a few spots but i always avoid the forehead as I tried it once before and it gave me chronic headaches. I go in for my appointment and I told them again that I wanted to spend my wallet money and that I wanted to avoid my forehead since I get headaches. The injector said ok and recommended a few spots for injections and said she would just do a little in the forehead. I thought we had agreed on me spending my wallet money so I agreed to do it. She injected a bunch into my forehead and then at checkout I see that my bill is over $700 more than what I had in my wallet. I left in shock since there’s no way to return what was already in my face. After a few days and talking with friends (most are early 30s starting a family or buying a home) they told me this amount of money would hurt them for several months. I then decided to call and let the company know what happened. The office manager Taylor was kind and said she would give me 20% back and asked if I wanted her to tell the owner and upper management. I thought it was good for them to know that one of their injectors was taking advantage, so I said yes. She told me they would call me at the end of the week. 3 weeks later and no phone call, I called in to see if they remembered to call me back. They told me they would call me at the end of the day. 3 days later the manager calls me back and says she’s been on vacation. She told me she talked to the injector and that she told her that it never happened and I was agreeing to have my forehead injected with that much product. She assured me that my case has caused them to go through training to make sure that they don’t go over wallet balances if that is stated at the beginning of the appointment, but there’s nothing else they can do. I just feel scammed by a company I was loyal to for a long time and I wanted to warn any young woman looking to do beauty treatments for the first time to be cautious and get an exact price before letting them do anything to your face. I am $700 over budget and I have chronic headaches and look like Jack Nicholson....

I could write a novel about how great my experience at Beauty Co was. I went for a lip filler appointment with Jennifer, who I had read nothing but amazing reviews about before booking. I personally have a high intolerance to numbing treatments, which resulted in some not-so-pleasant filler appointments in the past. The pain from hastily reapplied lidocaine, feeling most of the filler-process, then needing to dissolving certain areas post-treatment due to filling overly-swollen lips had me thinking lip filler just wasn’t for me.

But Jennifer made a not-so-pleasant process feel like a dream. She took the time to listen to my concerns around numbing and the treatment itself and did everything to make me feel as comfortable as possible. She booked extra time for the appointment to allow for more topical numbing pre-treatment, wrapped me up in the softest blanket, provided “laughing gas” to ease any pain or anxiety, used the bare-minimum for lidocaine injections, gave me a facial wand to use during treatment (actually such a game changer for fidgety people like myself!), and constantly checked in with me to assess pain-levels. Guys….it didn’t hurt!!! I had no idea it could be so painless! And on top of all that, Jennifer is just an absolute ray of sunshine. Genuinely one of the kindest people and does such a great job of making you feel at ease with her. My lips looked so beautiful right after she was done I genuinely teared up and hugged her! I am three days post-treatment and can happily say my lips are healing wonderfully and still look amazing. Jennifer even called to check in and see how the healing process is going! Like how nice is that!?

If you have any anxiety around filler processes, or are like me and have a high intolerance to numbing treatments, I cannot recommend Beauty Co (and Jennifer!) enough. Thank you for making something that was so scary become such a wonderful...
