Kim’s Restaurant is truly a hidden gem, and it easily serves the best Korean food I’ve had in the entire RTP area. The flavors here are authentic, bold, and unforgettable. The squid and pork dish is an absolute standout—it’s a must-have for anyone visiting. Unlike other places where the sauce can be too sweet or overpowering, this dish is perfectly balanced. The savory flavors come through beautifully, making every bite more delicious than the last.
Another highlight was the seafood noodle soup. The spice level was spot on, not overwhelming but just enough to give it that perfect kick, while still allowing the fresh, seafood flavors to shine through. The broth was rich and flavorful, and it’s clear a lot of care went into crafting this dish.
One of the best things about Kim’s is that the portion sizes are very generous, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable compared to other Korean restaurants in the area. You get incredible value for your money, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. It’s hard to find such great food at these prices, especially with portions that will leave you fully satisfied.
From the moment you walk in, the incredible aroma hits you, promising an authentic dining experience. You can immediately tell that this is the real deal, especially if you’re familiar with traditional Korean or Asian cuisine. Every dish we tried was delicious, and it’s easy to see the attention to detail in the cooking.
If you’re in the mood for top-tier Korean food, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates authentic flavors, quality dishes, and great value. Kim’s Restaurant deserves all the praise—it’s a place I’ll be coming...
Read moreI’m extremely disappointed. I had been years ago and they had amazing food, and despite the long wait it was worth it.
Today, I waited over an hour, saw them complete all orders before mine, then they started calling orders after mine. I asked what happened and they said there was a problem with their ticketing system and had forgot my order. I don’t know how this is possible. I had my ordered confirmed twice by 2 separate employees.
Finally, I asked how long it would be at that point (already one hour later). They claimed there were more orders and they would make it, and did not give a time estimate. I asked for a refund.
I left hungry and frustrated because at this point many restaurants had closed.
I would have expected at the very least my “forgotten” order to have been prioritized, and offered something to eat while waiting.
I caution not to waste time sitting...
Read moreWe were so excited to try this place, after all the great reviews. We ordered fried and steamed dumplings, kimchi stew, spicy seafood noodle, and bibimbap take out. We were incredibly disappointed. The fried dumplings were not vegetarian- they had the same filling as the steamed dumplings. When I called to ask about the fried dumplings, 2 different people argued with me that they were vegetarian dumplings, even though I had both dumplings in front of me. I was not offered a refund, was told I was wrong "because we use dumplings from a bag." They literally charged $12 for premade, probably frozen dumplings. The seafood noodles were inedible due to the old seafood used. We had to throw it out in the outside trash can so our house didn't reak of rotten seafood. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is the kimchi stew was good. This was our first time, and also our last. So...
