Loved the Gourmet Paletas here! I was someone who did not know what Paletas are, and found that they are basically like popsicle sticks but bigger, originated in Morelia, Mexico, and they usually combine natural fruit ingredients to offer relaxation from the heat. The owners of this ice cream place have taken that concept and made it their own by offering a wide variety of interesting flavors such as blueberry açaí, mango sorbet, lime sorbet, and so many more! You get to choose your Paleta flavor which would be the base, and they chose a dip to submerge your paleta in - options were something like dark chocolate, white chocolate, crunchy hazelnut, etc. The fun isn’t over yet because on top of that you get to add toppings of your choice! The toppings included - crushed pistachios, almonds, cookie crumble, crushed waffles, sprinkles and others. It is so hard to ignore the quality of these Paletas. We tried the Belgian Chocolate Paleta which was a very rich and decadent chocolate flavor, the mango sorbet which resembled a fresh mango flavor, the cookies and cream which was not an uncommon flavor but still great, and the chocolate and brownie flavor which was delicious too! I will definitely go again to try some of the other fruit flavors too!

The person serving us these Paletas was super friendly and she explained the options very well.

Seating here is limited but smoky hollows has plenty of space to stroll around or even sit within the vicinity.

The flavor combination was spot on—creamy cheesecake with a burst of fresh strawberry, creating the perfect balance of sweet and tangy.

Usually I love this place. The Charlotte location never disappoints. But Raleigh location leaves much to be desired. My 2 stars are for taste and cleanliness. But I deducted star because this location only ever has 1 person working! And it gets busy! So the wait times are a bit ridiculous. Im sorry but stop being cheap and pay to have at least 2 employees at all times. I mean your selling popsicles for $7 I think you can afford 2 people so customers don't have to wait 20 mins to order! Second this location is always running out of supplies. This time it was the waffle mix, last time i came it was the Reese palettes. I don't live close, and when I go out of my way to visit your establishment, and can get what i came for, its frustrating. And lastly, on previous visits when I got my palettes smored they didnt charge me extra to substitute the graham cracker crumbles for nuts, but this time I was charged an additional $1. So again if your charging extra for substitutions, fine. But then there's really no excuse not to have every product in stock and 2 employees. I hope this location can get...
