We reserve seats for 4. We arrive and wait about 5 minutes before seated. Issue after issue commences thereafter. I will spare of a long story and keep it as brief as possible. We were forgotten about, and others around us, gotten their drinks and their meal. We had to approach a host and they apologized and took a drink order. A female manager came over after 10 minutes and we still didn’t receive our drinks. She apologized for all that happened. It appeared to be a 5 minute interval if each drink coming over one by. One of the last drinks I got was slammed on the table by the waitress Tya. It seemed as she was going through something and I asked the manager was there an issue something going on with that waitress and explain how the drinks came over. One of my guess got a salad with onions in it and it was ordered without onions. They took the salad back. It came back and appeared to have no onions on it but then, when our guess removed the dressing, there was a bunch of onions underneath it, so they took the salad back and got a whole new fresh salad. We’re still waiting to eat and it’s been about an hour before we actually gotten all the food to us to. We were missing the extra sides to the meal and we were waiting for that and it never came. Then the person that brought the food over, the waitress name is Vet. She was a very welcoming waitress and we tipped her well. Another manager had came over his name is Zab Rash. We explained everything to him. He asked what could they do to make it better. We asked for a discount. He went back and spoke with the other manager to come back with a decision and they took care of the whole meal. We weren’t done yet, he the manager put his name on that meal and he said if one of our guess out of the 4 of us isn’t satisfied then he felt he has not done his job. One of our guest placed an order of a stack of ribs. He made the order himself because he put his name on that one and came back and it was a job that was done well. Zeb has done an excellent job and taken care of our all of us and he re-done a receipt to 50% off. I would definitely recommend outback steakhouse with the waitress Vet and the manager Zeb on duty because those are the type of staff members you want to run a business and to be emulated from. It was my wife’s birthday and why we came out to celebrate her day and he also gave her dessert. a slice of cheesecake...
Read moreWe are typically fans of dining at Outback. However, this location will not be a repeat! We went for dinner on a Friday night. When we arrived (party of 2), there were more empty tables than full, which should have been a clue. They took our information and told us it would be about 10 min. It took them 10 min to decide which empty table to seat us.
The server took our drink, bread, and appetizer order. The Bloomin' Shrimp came out fast and was actually tasty. We finished the appetizer before we got our drinks (sweet tea & water). Still no bread. Our starters finally arrived, house salad & Taz Chili and then we finally got our drinks. Still no bread.
We waited and waited, and our main entrees finally arrived. Bloomin' burger & 6 Oz Sirloin, well & med well, and we both got seasoned rice. Burger was LOADED with onions, raw and poorly fried bloomin' onions, and it was medium rare. The steak was medium. We send them both back. We did finally receive the bread.
After a substantial waiting period, the manager brought our plates back out, fresh rice, I changed my rice to fries because the rice was too salty for me. Burger was cooked well. My steak was worse, it was rare-med. rare. The manager seemed annoyed (maybe at the kitchen) but took my steak back again. After my husband was almost done with his burger the manager plopped my plate in front of me and said "try this". It was the same steak, same fries. It was cooked to the correct temp, but it was tough, chewy, and scalded on one side. The fries were cold. We asked for our cheesecake to go, which turned out to be good.
The server was nice, but not very attentive. When refilling the beverages, which she only did once, she did not bother topping off the ice.
When we walked away from dinner, we were still hungry and highly disappointed in our experience.
No photos to add, nothing was worth...
Read moreBe cautious if you’re making a reservation! I had a large party of 12 and we were fasting for Ramadan, so it was important for us to make a reservation because we would be starving when it would be finally time for us to eat. Well we got there in the evening and told them we have a reservation. They said they don’t have it. I told them I called the day before and made the reservation. They insisted that no reservation exists in our name and I must have called the wrong one. I went in my phone history and told them the number I called. They said that’s not their location’s number. Well, I called that number in front of them, and guess what, their phone started ringing. The manager answered it in front of me and guess what, I’m talking to them on the phone as they’re standing in front of me, proving that I didn’t call the wrong location. Yet the kicker is they STILL insisted WHILE I’m on the phone with them as they’re standing right in front of me that they didn’t speak to me yesterday. When my phone history clearly says what time I called them and that was the only number I called. I didn’t appreciate the gaslighting. I would have rather them just take ownership and apologize. Now I’m standing there with my fasting family with no plans on what to eat. With the manager telling me it would be at least 45 minutes to seat us, we made the decision to find somewhere else. Again, I understand mistakes happen. The right thing to do would have been to say “I’m sorry for the mix up, clearly you called the right number and I’m not sure how we lost your reservation. Unfortunately we don’t have any tables available right now but we would love to make up for this mistake. Here is a $5 gift card, I hope you come back...
