The manager was so rude. I was told on the phone by a lady that my order would take 35-40 mins. I placed this order 12:12 pm. I was told that my order would be a challenge to get delivered because I work for a call center named conduent and the security guards havent been letting them in. Mind you conduent has several entrances. The lady told me to make sure that I answered the phone when the driver called.Me along with my co worker went and stood outside of the building and waited for 30 mins. We never saw a car so we went back inside the building. We decided to wait for the phone to ring then we would direct him to our entrance. The driver never called or even came. Instead of calling us or performing his or her job he lied and told the workers that he called when he didnt. I ended up calling back I was met with a male who put me on hold. Before bringing another woman on the phone...the same lady as before. Who argued at me that the driver had called and came and said can she speak with my manager. At this point I am furious. I now have to leave work. When I had paid with my debit card for a delivery. When I arrived at the restaurant. The rude lady was at the front counter. She was a white girl, and the guy who was also a white male and was pretty tall with blue eyes, walked up. I proceeded to try to tell them that the driver had not called. Because he had not. But instead of receiving a caring or understanding response the guy says well he would not just go and not deliver. He called. and it does not matter because your food is free. Of course you guys understand that it did matter because I had to leave work to do someone elses job that I had paid for. I live in Durham and frequently buy from Papa Johns. But this by far is the worst Papa Johns I have ever went to. They are rude and my food was cold and disgusting. I was super...
Read moreI paid for an order with the same card I've been paying with for the last 2 Years. Showed papa johns charged my card but when it didn't confirm my order I became concerned and called in only to sit on hold 20 min. So bc I live close I decide to just go over there. When I get there, I explain the situation to the first guy. He seemed genuinely concerned n understanding (a young black guy) n was trying to figure out a way to help. In the background I can hear a white guy (assumingly the manager on duty) state that he's "not worried about her" but I try to ignore him bc I'm sick (which is the whole reason I wanted the food delivered so I can rest n don't have to cook for the fam) But then when he sees its taking the guy who was trying to help awhile he approaches blurting out random stuff like "Its gonna go back to your card" but it's like sir if u would've actually listened you'd understand I'm not worried about the money. I just want my food and since I'm here make the order, charge my card & papa dollars...but like the typical young person who thinks they know everything so there's no need to listen to details so u can actually understand what we're trying to accomplish, he just kept interrupting and blurting out redundant info like I can "just reorder on the app". Why would I reorder on the same thing that just messed up my last order and caused all this confusion? Won't be ordering from yall again until you get it together. Sometimes it's yall don't have drivers even though you accepted my order and charged a delivery fee. Last time we waited almost 2 hrs bc doordash never brought our food. Read morePapa Johns on Capital Blvd has a crew of managers that needs to be fired. I visited this establishment on Saturday and ordered a special pizza with bacon and pepperoni well some idiotic added pineapple to the pizza. My family is allergic and experienced a severe reaction. I call to inform of the issue and that I would need the corporate contact or their claims addressed. I was informed to bring the pizza back. I guess they wanted to see their mistake. I was encounter by two unpleasant managers one by name of Shy and the other by name of Jamie. I explained the situation and was told well we already gave you half refund ok so what about the number for corporate. I was told they didn’t have a number for corporate now I find this hard to believe because a manager should have contact for corporate or your general manager. Very rude and then Shy had the audacity to tell the other manager Jamie to come deal with me because get this I had pissed her off. I’m furious because you put my family life at risk and you talking about you pissed off. Yeah ok now here is Jamie saying how can I help well you could have first told your employer that is how you don’t speak to your customers but no you go on and fail at that. I say may I use a pen to write some thing down. I don’t have a pen an one in front of you her response was my hands are dirty mind you she just took a call with the same dirty hands when should have washed them before interacting with the customer anyway Jamie.
