This may be long but you may want to read!! Let me just start off my saying… DONT listen to the reviews! This was not by first massage. I searched on google , came across their page and read the reviews & was able to book a same day appointment. I thought I was doing good and on to something . Get there, place was clean & quiet. & NO they don’t speak English! But bypass all that, they did get me to the back within seconds of checking in so that was a plus however I get to the back and she pointed to her shirt letting me know to take it off . I took off shirt and bra, she comes back in room and started to take my pants off . Im looking like huh ,didn’t think nothing of it . Thought she wanted me to make myself comfortable, so in my head I’m like ok whatever let me not think to much into it . She started massaging my legs , which I didn’t sign up for a full body massage ONLY wanted a deep tissue massage on my back . Their website does not mention any of this NOR she told me what I was getting myself into once I arrived or got to the back . I do understand the concept of a “deep tissue massage “ but I told her it was hurting a little and she not once change how heavy she was. I can say she did ask once or twice was I ok but with them only knowing a little English she only understood when I said yes when I said I was ok but this was prior to me telling her it hurts ^^. Bypass the massage when it was over she didn’t say we was finish , was their any other areas that needs attention or anything she just left me there and walked out . I get dress head out to the lobby to pay she had the screen already to the tip screen . I’m looking at her like “no” shes looking at me like “tip”? So she exists out of everything and pull everything back up showing me that my original massage was 95 as if I didn’t understand then go back to the tip screen basically forcing me to leave a tip. I left a $3 tip. She gone say “ that’s it ? Which I feel wasn’t right because we not obligated to leave a tip but I went ahead and left it . Hours goes by, time to get in bed , noticed my back is sore & hurts so bad . Also I have a knot at the top of my back .So uncomfortable to sleep and turn around, This was the worst I ever experienced ! I will never go back ! I don’t recommend nobody to this...
Read moreI had an absolutely incredible first experience with Grace. A massage that left me leaving saying ‘this massage changed my life’
I went back a few months later and scheduled a last minute appt online with Grace. When I arrived, they put me with another masseuse as it seemed Grace was gone for the day. This was understandable because I booked just a couple hours ahead of time and it was the last appt of the day.
The masseuse for my second massage genuinely injured me, and I’m still recovering a week later. She seemed to struggle more than Grace with managing how much weight she put on my back throughout the walking session and I suspect that is when the injury occurred. I did tell her I was good with heavier pressure, but there was zero build up or ease into it, it was just immediate trauma to my muscles. I was really disheartened from this experience and I’m hopeful there isn’t long term damage to my shoulder/back area, but I still can’t fully turn my head. I’ve had dozens of massages in my life and this is more than ‘soreness’
I can’t remember the name of my masseuse but my appt was 12/21 at 6pm.
I do believe this was a one off bad experience as my first massage was life changing. But it being a week out and with me still hurting to the extent I am, it is affecting my day to day life so I wanted to say something. I would still recommend this place, but I would...
Read moreReal honest review. I've been here twice and this is what I have to say. The staff are friendly and the place is clean but there are some issues that I've noticed. First, the staff does not speak English which makes it very challenging to communicate what you want done/part of your body that you need work on. I've noticed that they have a routine in which they massage and it doesn't seem like they differ from it whether or not you ask for a specific part of your body massaged. Secondly, both women I've had have done a pretty good job in terms of general massaging but this is not a place to go if your body is sensitive or fragile. I have been to a certified massage place and the difference between massages is very clear which makes me question whether or not they have been properly trained. Overall, decent place if your looking for a relatively reasonably priced massage, but personally I was not impressed. Side note: they will ask you for a...
