Today I experienced a cardinal sin of restaurant ownership. Shish Kabob has a new app and to promote said app, they are offering a promotion. For your first order using the app, you will be given 25% off. In my effort to save 25% I downloaded the app and proceeded to select the items that I wish to partake of. At the conclusion of the order, I was unable to place the order even though the price of the items and the discount were reflected.
When I arrived at the restaurant, I shared this experience and was met with "What kind of phone do you have?" Perplexed, I told them (Owner and staff) that I have an iPhone 6 Plus. I was then told "Sometimes the app doesn't work on some phones." I told them that I understood that but that I had a screen shot that would indicate what price I should be charged. Their response, "We can't give you that price because it has to be done with the app." At this point, I am perplexed, frustrated and not to mention hangry.
As a result, I paid the regular price as to not be argumentative in a restaurant full of people who just wanted to eat and I was actually rather pleasant about the whole situation. I would have thought that the owner would offer to honor the price that I showed him but apparently I was very wrong. I will not be returning to Shish Kabob because if you don't value your customers enough to honor a promotion when there is an obvious technological glitch then you apparently don't care to have them continue to patronize...
Read moreI ordered this meal today and had someone pick it up for me on my lunch because I was unable to so of course checking before leaving wasn't an option. After I received my food I saw there was no hummus which was stated when I made the order so I went by and asked about the hummus I did not receive even willing to pay just incase the order was misunderstood on the phone. After being fussed at by the owner/ person making the food that they would not and had not forgot the hummus it just wasn't ordered(which it was) he proceeds to give me the hummus and act as it was a favor. I said "THANK YOU" and in disbelief of how I was treated by being yelled at in front of other customer he stops me at the door and said I was ungrateful of his favor because I shook my head again still in disbelief because at this point more people are coming in the store. I have never been treated this way by any restaurant. There is definitely a way to speak to customers. If he felt I had not ordered correctly the 1st time that is all he had to say I would have acknowledged fault and reorder hummus and pay but to fuss at a customer about how it could not have been a fault of theirs is very...

Now I Drive Bus for a living so I was passing by to pick up other passengers and decided to run in and get me some lunch, then move on. We'll when I open the box before I left there were no Onions on top but as I got back into the bus and moved on and finally got to eat my Salad there were Onions All thru my Salad. I was on my way to Fuaq Varina, I call back to the restaurant and explain to the man what happen and was told if I bring the Salad right back they can make me a new one. Okay that would be great if I c I uld come right back but I drive the bus which is my job and I can't come right back and All he gave me was a Sorry Ma'am, he made a mistake, well I'm stuck with something I do not eat and also wasn't offered any other options like take my name and come back another day. I work hard for my money and I DO NOT APPRECIATE WASTING IT ON ANYTHING, ESPECIALLY IF I'M NOT GOING TO USE IT AT ALL. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THAT ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!!!!...
