Nashona — Local services in Raleigh

I've been a supporter, patron and fan of Nashona, Inc. for over a year now. The authentic African apparel are vibrant, unique and beautifully tailored and complementary to various body shapes and sizes. With that being said, I visited the boutique last week located in the heart of downtown Goldsboro. The store is beautiful and inviting; however, the customer service left a lot to be desired. The young lady that was working at the time wasn't welcoming and didn't appear to be excited about having a guest/prospective consumer in the store. I queried her about the history of Nashona, Inc. and it was clear she was familiar with the history, which was helpful. However, she wasn't very helpful re: questions about the men's apparel and her disposition wasn't friendly. In short, if I had not been familiar with Nashona's brand and the amazing owner and operator of the boutique, I would have left the store immediately. The customer service was sub-par; however, my history with the the brand, boutique, my experiences with the owner and stellar customer service in the past are reflected in my overall rating. If I had to rate the sales associate independently, it would have been a gracious 2 out of 5 stars....

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! This boutique is exactly what this NY Chic woman has been looking for since relocating to RDU area. My husband and I stopped by on our way home from the Life Sciences Museum with the kids and I MUST say it was well worth the last minute drop in. The owner is truly knowledgeable in her craft and made my shopping experience a relaxing adult moment after a grueling day with today’s kids 😖! My husband and I procured a couple of pieces and some accessories to boot…..we will definitely be coming back and bring Mom when she comes to visit. The high quality fabrics and patterns are simply elegant and one of a kind….I am obsessed and could spend a couple of hours shifting through all that this Afrocentric chic boutique...

Nashona Boutique is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! I had called them in February 2022 for a piece of jewelry that was absolutely stunning and it was sold out! Ms. Lilian and Shenee were instrumental in finding the jeweler in Tanzania and restocking it in April 2022. They would call and provide lovely updates until they were able to restock it!!! I am so glad that I was able to physically go into the shop and support their Goldsboro location! The jewelry and clothing are AMAZING! Looking forward to sharing their deets with all of my friends and family. Also looking forward to supporting again!!!
