Tried this location twice while tending to my ailing mother; So good enough the first time & 2nd made it worthy of review. Sammy Hagar era Van Halen (5150) queued the feeling today ~ Can the Best Of Both Worlds really exist in a world in transition? Depends on how you take it, eh? I'll say 1986 could be the build date on this outparcel ~ stucco on the outside, weird tile action on the inside. This location got the pre-covid furniture overhaul, 4 self order kiosks, a paint job (the beige ceiling tiles don't look bad), and the self-serve drinkerator. What's funny is how precision marks this one: there's no green Mt. Dew at the drive through window so every order (there are many) is walk out front to fill. That drive through should be a DMV test track. The show from inside watching all the poorly driven cars circulating is worth a combo meal. I learned that there is another TB elsewhere on 6 forks, Dashers please make sure you are picking up from the right one. The crew here is what stands above the odd architecture, goofy drive through lane and end of in person interaction. They're chatty, want to do well, and seem to chuckle a bit at the irony of it all. A digital overlay on this most analog of starting points. It works and that's enough. The style keeps a wry smile from devolving into snickering.

Several months back I used to come here reasonably often, maybe once every week or two, to get some tacos and quesadillas. However, the quality of the quesadillas was pretty inconsistent so I stopped going for a while. This week I decided to go back and try it again, and was incredibly disappointed. First of all, the quesadillas are notably smaller than they used to be. Only about 75-80% of the original size. On top of that, their prices have gone up, so you’re now paying over $7 for a quesadilla. All that might be ok if they were at least good quality. But there was almost nothing inside them, they forgot the creamy jalapeño sauce, and they barely even cut the slices. You can’t shrink the food, raise the prices, and then provide inconsistent quality and expect people to come back.

Usually there's no issue here (besides the drinks always tasting wierd) but the last 2 times I've tried to eat here (2022-1-4 and 2022-1-7) the store has a sign that says "dine-in closed, please visit drive-thru" but there are cones blocking the drive-thru. Idk what's going on, but at least a "temporarily closed" or "we'll be back on [date]" would be nice.

Feb 18, 2025 Food: Taco Bell has always been sub-par, so don’t take that personally. It’s just not at the top of my list. Food was correct, exactly as i ordered, yum.

Service: Food was fast, but it also wasn’t busy. Called my name, got my cup. I don’t like talking to people so I love that there’s barely any human interaction. (This is not sarcasm, I really don’t like talking to people) and below is and example of why:

Atmosphere: I don’t drive, I uber/lyft. A friend of mine works here, so I went with them bc I ordered something from Target, so I was waiting for the email to pick it up. (Yk they take awhile sometimes) Friend comes up to me n says the manager on shift wants me to leave bc of “loss prevention,” I stole nothing. In fact, I was a paying customer; 20$ worth of food. I didn’t finish all of it, so I had it on the table in front of me while I waited for the Target email. Manager finally gathers the courage to talk to me himself. According to him, people can’t buy food and mind their business in the lobby without getting bothered. Threatened to call the cops. I asked him “what did I steal?” (Since my friend brought up loss prevention). Somehow, he didn’t know what I was talking about… oh okay. So what am I doing that’s disturbing the flow of business??? Nothing, just sitting in a near-empty lobby… oh okay. So then what is it??? All he does is cowardly dodge the questions and say I have 5 minutes to leave or the cops will be called. Heard him calling them after only two minutes. I jus threw out the rest of my food and left.

If he asked, I could have pulled up proof that im waiting for an email. I had the order confirmation, I was simply waiting for it to be ready.

During black history month??? a shame (this part is a joke to make light of...

This was the worst experience I've ever had a drive-thru. I was first told that it would be a while before my order was taken. I understood that and patiently waited, then I was told that there were two people working and if I wanted to order I would have to wait at least 30 minutes for my food. I thanked the lady for the heads up and said I would exit the drive-thru. Because the wait time was so long, a couple of the cars were routed to the front of the store so the workers could run out when the orders were ready as to not block the other cars trying to exit the drive-thru ( it's one of those once you're in you can't leave designs). For whatever reason the employee decided to let the drive-thru get backed up waiting for a large order (the three cars behind this vehicle decided not to order because they were short staffed and overwhelmed). She did not ask the customer to pull around, several of us tried to call the store and the phone was taken off the hook, a few of us tried knocking on the doors and the windows to get her attention to ask her to pull the car around all to no avail. When she finally came back, she said she didn't move the car because there are only two people working. If we were all going to be kept in the Drive-Thru for 40 minutes for her to make the large order, then we could have ordered our food as well since we had to wait anyway. Is this establishment better when it's properly staffed? I can't say. Will I be going back to give it another try?...

Was hired and fired on the 4th day of TRAINING. because of a dispute due to nobody wanting to train me. Went to the manager Mr. Eugene and told him if it was ok if he can put me with another crew. The other manger Ms. Celeste decided to join in on me and Mr Eugene's conversation. Told her I wasn't talking to her and to get out of my face when she proceeded to continue to talk and over talk me. I got agitated and use inappropriate language but no threat was made. Which I accept full accountability on my end for the reason I was fired. What I don't appreciate is being yelled at by the manager Mr. Eugene, and how rude the other manager Ms. Celeste handled the situation. I feel as though the situation could of been handled in a professional way. I also feel That little dispute could of been a write up instead of a termination. I felt as if they didn't want me there from the beginning and looking for a way to get me out anyway. The facility is disheveled seem that they care more about friendships and relationships then doing there job it's a time and place for that. Got hired on with my friend however, she still works there. I won't be surprised if they try to get her out too. They pick and show favor on who they want to keep, guess I didn't fit in there committee. Thank you for reading this review if it had a minus zero star I would've definitely...
