I give 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ To CJ and Cortland, because they were the only two making it happen with no attitude. Cortland was the one who acknowledged my friends and I when we came in. He asked the waiter who was in charge of that section if she had taken our order, she look at us and continue doing what she was doing. We asked if we can get a table cleaned so we can sit down, but the pregnant girl refused to do it because she said she was off at 5 o’clock so she wasn’t doing it. So now their going back and forth with one another about who is going to clean the table, Cortland suggested that they work as a team instead of arguing to get the job done. When we did get a clean table we sat down it was very very cold the air conditioner was on full blast it was so cold we could not even sit there. So we moved back to the Barstool seats. CJ then came out and asked us have we been served we told him no and he proceeded to take our order. Even though it was not CJ’s table to wait on, he waited on us which shows his great customer service skills he never once gave us attitude or showed he was under pressure because of the staff being short. Cortland showed Excellent leadership, team player And customer Service skills. Cortland prepared food cleaned tables took orders and check people out when they were ready to go. There was also another man named Joe that was there and he was not doing anything. I heard his name being called several times to take orders. His presentation of himself was very unsanitary. I would have never wanted him to serve me he looked dirty! Joe was sitting in the back doing nothing and there was tables that need to be clean and customers that needed to be served! CJ and Cortland Did their very best to satisfy customers coming in but they are only two people so they can only do so much. The rest of the staff were horrible like we wind up not even paying for our food because nobody wanted to write our ticket up so we ate for free. Read moreI come here all the time, not sure if it's a new staff because I've never seen this lady before, but hopefully something is done about them asap. Ordered bacon and waffles per usual, around 12:20 am on 8/22, because I usually go pick it up, head to work down the street and eat before clocking in at 1:00. Did the exact same thing this time, when I get there, my food isn't ready. It's 12:30 and I ordered 10 minutes ago, it shouldn't take long to make bacon and waffles and also the website said it would be ready in less than 5 minutes. Well I get there and wait at the window for at least 5 minutes for the lady to acknowledge me. There were only two workers in the store, the cook and the cashier with a two toned, blonde and blue fro. Once she finally gets my name, I see her go and start making the order, she didn't even have to decency to tell me it wasnt ready yet, yet alone not even started. Everytime she would close the window, she would say something, obviously talking about us. However when she actually opened the window she was nice, then immediately started talking crap when she shuts the window as if we can't see her talking through the GLASS. It is now 12:45 and I'm still waiting, my waffle is finally done and they JUST put the bacon on the griddle. After watching other ppl show up and leave cause they weren't being acknowledged either, I eventually had to leave without getting my food or a refund, because I would have been late for work waiting on them to make BACON AND WAFFLES. I ended up working my 10 hours overnight shift on an empty stomach, and had to go back to the store after my shift and explain everything to finally get my meal. I was trying to call in a order and they wouldn't pick up the phone. then when they did they sent me to that animated voice thing then I got hung up on several times. after about the 10th time of calling and finally making my order; I tried to call back and got no answer. they when the food was picked up it was cold. so now I just don't go at all or every so often. The people in there hate to pick up phones, some of the cooks can't cook and it's not worth the trouble anymore. what I mean by they can't cook is my eggs was half cook and had to reorder some. Another morning my husband and I went for breakfast and he ended up wit a piece of rubber glove in his grits. The recovery from that was they charged us for one meal and a free bowl of grits. I was just tired of the foolishness of the place. People at work not really want to work. Then what got me was you charge people for taking out food. Like we dont get charge at BK / McDonald's for them bringing out our food to us. But we standing in your establishment ordering and taking out our own food but yet u charge us for standing and waiting and you handing us a bag then we pay and then we carry out our own food. so my question is if they had a drive thru would they charge more for the drive threw the line, stopping at the window and actually had to bring us our food to the car.
