I dont take pleasure in providing negative input of fast food establishments, but when the behavior of the establishment negates the concept of "fast food" it warrants attention, plain and simple.
Last night, I hit the drive thru and ordered a "$4 biggie bag" and specifically requested "no cheese" on the sandwich, which the cashier acknowledged and input (so I presume). There is no language barrier and I assume I will get a sandwich minus cheese. I dont.
The issue here is not the mistake of the cashier, (whose attitude was poor to begin with, which IS NOT the point of this rant) but the inability of them to rectify the error in a timely manner, the way one should expect with fast food establishments.
SINCE THE DINING ROOM WAS CLOSED and the drive thru horrendously LONG (which again, is forgiveable given realities of doing business today) I decided to give my sandwich to some poor beggar walking up to all the car windows in the drive thru as opposed to wait it out, because that would have negated the point of "fast food"
To the point!
As a previous poster indicated, this Wendy's may exist in the ghetto but should acknowledge their customers money is as green as somone named Rockefeller and they should not leave customers in a position where they cannot get an order fixed. THAT IS WHAT ONE SHOULD EXPECT FROM A WENDYS IN CUBA, not AMERICA, let alone anywhere in RALEIGH or the great state of NC.
LEAVE THE DINING ROOM OPEN AS A LONG AS THE...
Read moreI visited the Wendy’s on New Bern Avenue in Raleigh, North Carolina, to pick up a mobile order and place an additional drive-thru order. My drive-thru order included a #8 Asiago Ranch Classic Chicken sandwich (no bacon, no lettuce), upgraded to a large fry and a strawberry lemonade. I was told they were out of strawberry syrup, so I accepted a classic lemonade instead.
Unfortunately, what I received was completely wrong. My sandwich had three layers of bacon, lettuce, no ranch, cold melted cheese, and it was not grilled. I was also disappointed to learn the sandwich pictured in the display (which looked grilled) was not an actual option—this felt misleading. On top of that, I was given a half-filled fry box instead of the full large I paid for. To make matters worse, there was confusion at the window. I was first handed one bag, then two, then three, then asked to return them all. There was disorganized communication about which orders were mine, and ultimately, I still received incorrect items. I also did not receive a receipt for either order.
As a single mom who hadn’t eaten in nearly 12 hours, this was extremely frustrating—especially after paying nearly $13 for the wrong food. I work hard just like your staff and expect the same respect in return. I don’t live near this location and had already left when I discovered the issues. This experience was deeply...
Read moreThis is the Ner Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC location. This is WORSE Wendys ive ever been to! When I arrive there was a young man outside (blocking the door) having a very unprofessional convo on the phone. He moved, I went in the store, and this same young man was the cashier. He walked behind the counter and just stared at me noting saying a word. So I stared back at him. This went on for about 30 seconds. I waiting for a "welcome to wendys" or "may I take your order", nada. So I broke by saying "I would like to order...". I paid, he turned around and all I could see was his ass from his sagging pants. Everyone behind the counter looked dirty, like they work construction instead of in an temp controlled environment. I got my food took a bite and thought "I probably shouldn't be eating this" and threw it away. All I had was my drink. People just hanging out in the dining area not eating or anything. They obviously knew the cashier bc after taking he went to go hang with them. I've been to this place a time b4 and while I was ordering 4-6 guys came out the bathroom. The manager on duty muffled a comment the they were smoking weed or doing a drug deal. I didn't smell any weed, so...
