First I would like to apologize for ordering so close to closing time. When I placed the order on the app it didn’t tell me store hours or I would not have placed the order so close to closing. However, having the delivery driver give us a lecture about being more respectful of time was totally out of line.
I’ve had other apps that won’t let you order if they’re closing or the store will call to say their hours in app are wrong and they’re closing and can’t complete my order. I have no problem with that. If I’ve missed store hours I am totally ok getting a call saying “sorry we’re closing and cannot complete your order”, or having the app not process payment after hours, but I am not ok with a delivery driver telling my boyfriend and I that we should be more considerate and that he basically did us a favor because we’re “out of delivery range” (which is false, you can’t place orders if you’re not in range).
I can understand being upset and frustrated for my order being close to closing, and We apologized to our driver for this, but please be respectful to us as well. My boyfriend ended up not handing out the tip I left because he was so angry at the way the delivery driver talked to him. I feel bad that he didn’t hand it out but I also understand his anger. Read more*update. I did hear back from the manager of this location who seemed genuinely concerned and agreed two orders not delivering is fustrating and not okay. (Awesome, right?!) The manager apologized, said she'd talk to staff and would be sending a gift card for the inconvenience. Surprise. Over a month and no gift card. I am happy to report I have been ordering online with subway, redeeming points for free subs and saving money. Subway is directly across the street. ..so consider ordering online with subways app, redeeming points and saving money.
I've been ordering from this jj for over a year with no issues. Last time I ordered, my order never delivered. I called over an hour later and the driver insisted he delivered the order, which was not at my door. We confirmed address and a new order was eventually brought out. Today I ordered again, SAME thing happened. I called and again they insisted the order was delivered. It was not. I work from home and carry a schedule. I ordered lunch to have in-between meetings. I requested a refund. I simply don't have time to be chasing orders...

There were no customers but the four parking spots in front of the shop were full. I order two #9s a #8 and a #15. There's 3 guys and a girl working. I'm holding my son so I ask the guy placing the sandwiches on the counter to "please put them in a bag" he looks at me and sets a bag on the counter next to the sandwiches and just stands there. I attempt to get the sandwiches in the bag while maintaining control of my child to no avail. Zero help from the employee.
