McDonald's — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

This must be a corporate store. Not sure how McDonald's allows this store to operate in the way they do. I ordered food through the drive thru on 10-3-22 at 4:10pm and had to deal with the rudest person I have ever dealt with at a fast food company. I placed an order for two happy meals and only saw one on the screen then ordered a 1/4 pounder with cheese. I only saw 1 happy meal and the 1/4 pounder on the screen, so I said "I only see 1 happy meal" her reply is what else do you want? I said I only see 1 happy meal again and she said what else do you want? Again I said, the second Happy meal in not on the screen? She said it's there, what else do you want? VERY VERY RUDELY. She was a younger thin Hispanic girl. When I went up to the second window she was clearly the one who took my order. She handed me my food and said "here's your food" very rudely. I said you know you are a rude person, I'm sorry you are having such a bad day. As I drove away I heard her yelling out the window, could see her head stuck out the window but the only thing I could make out was the word "rude". I called the manager who sounded like a younger man, I told him what happened and suggested he make a change at the drive thru window, as she is very rude and abrasive, he said " I know I have being trying to persuade her to be nicer" I was at a loss for words. I guess that explains the many 1 star and 2 star reviews. I'm guessing no one from McDonalds reads the reviews which is a shame. McDonalds has always been very consistent in their service but judging from my experience and the other reviews of this store, it has fallen...

I used to Marvel at the speed in accuracy of this McDonald’s. The food was always hot. The service was always with a smile. I enjoyed coming here immensely. today ruined all of that for me. There were four of us in the car. We all looked at the menu and began placing our order. Halfway through, she she total the order and asked us to move to the first window. We weren’t even done ordering yet. Finally got our order together went up to receive the order and boy it took forever. The order came out and my coffee was wrong. I ordered a large caramel latte I got a large caramel frappe. We told the lady that I wanted a large caramel latte iced she came back with a hot caramel latte latte we told her what we ordered and she asked us to move forward and wait a moment and she’ll bring it out to us. This whole ordeal took us almost 20 minutes and I still hadn’t got my coffee. So I grabbed my receipt and went inside and asked for my money back on the frappe then I asked her why I didn’t get my coffee and she told me well. I’m the only one up here while sitting outside we watched all kinds of cars goodbye and the only job this lady had was handing out food. There were two people in the back cooking and putting out orders. Any one of them could’ve poured the coffee out of the machine and brought it out to us. She told me I was rude. I told her she was incompetent and that customer service here was nonexistent. She threw my money on the counter and I slid the change onto the floor and they told me never to come back. This is a newly remodeled McDonald’s, so one would think improved, right? I had to wait until my food was ready to wash my hands since I had to order on the app or the kiosk. There was no service at the counter until your food was ready. Maybe people eat without washing hands here? There were no napkin dispensers anywhere and I had to ask for more from an unattended counter (after I had to take my food to the bathroom so I could wash my hands) since a meal for 2 included exactly 2 napkins. I would usually dine in so I could top off my drink to take back to work but there was no fountain. When I threw out my bag, there was a bar across the trash can that would require me to smash it in and touch a trash can opening, requiring me to ask permission to use the sink again (at am unattended counter) I guess the staff will have to push it in until the bar across the trash is either removed or broken. I wish I could remove this location from my gps so I don’t search for a McDonald’s when I’m driving and accidentally select this McDonald’s instead of one where hand washing people that can get their own napkins and drinks go.
