If I could give 0 stars I would!! I placed a mobile order here today, when I arrived there is a sign out front that says “we are open for mobile order pick-up” and yet the front door has a handwritten note that says the lobby is closed (shouldn’t the corporate Starbucks sign say “drive thru only” then?) I’m in a cargo van with 9’ clearance and their drive thru is 8’6” clearance so I called the store to ask if they can run my order out to my car (I’m wearing a mask and have followed social distancing guidelines to keep me/others safe) or if anything, just leave my order right outside the door and close the door and I’ll pick it up so no one has contact... what did they say? “No we can’t do that.” Seriously??? No reason given, just a repeated no.
Hey guess what guys, I worked for Starbucks for 5 years and I regularly ran orders out to peoples cars, there’s absolutely no reason you can’t do it. Starbucks has an accessibility policy that ensures everyone is welcome, including people that can’t enter the lobby or drive thru for whatever reason. So the decision to not take my order to me is 100% against Starbucks policy! Lucy from corporate confirmed this over the phone with me. :) Again, no reason was given and you would have the same amount of contact with me in the drive thru so I’m chalking this up to PURE LAZINESS. Read moreI've been coming here every morning for the past 3 1/2 years and this new employee that I have never seen before was very rude to me today their system was down at the drive-through line. No one took my order so when I got to the window, I tried to place my order. She told me I had to get back in line. I waited here for a total of 43 minutes. when I arrive back to the front window, she was very rude to me. She told me she does not care that I had to wait that long and that I will not be disrespectful to her. I respectfully told her I'm not being disrespectful. I'm just a little frustrated that I had to wait this long. I've never had this happen before she kept telling me I would mess up their wait time , and then she held my coffee basically wanting me to apologize to her. I asked her to hand me the coffee so that way I can leave and the wait time won't be affected. She got very nasty with me. I’ve been told by others that this location isn’t always the cleanest but ended up there one morning due to having to visit family member at the hospital that day. After the first sip of my coffee I noticed that it tasted a bit different that morning, after a few more sips I didn’t want to drink anymore of it because something just didn’t taste right. After an hour I started to get really bad stomach cramps in the hospital during the visit to said family member. I had to use the hospital bathroom several times while being there. Food poisoning.
Over the course of the next 4 days I couldn’t leave the house, I couldn’t go to work or do anything because anything I would even get in my stomach would automatically be expelled in one way or another. Had fevers, sweats, extreme diarrhea and every other symptom of food poisoning you can think of.
