Sal's Pizza — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

This is my favorite pizza place probably ever. Nobody seems to know about it, so it must be highly underrated. The workers are so nice and very friendly. My family loves to go here to get pizza. They always have candy out at the counter and will occasionally give small toys (finger puppets, slinkies, etc.) to the kids that come in. The prices are a bit higher than normal but the pizza is most definitely worth it. The salad is amazing as well, with olives, cheese, tomatoes, and much more on top. They also have wings and breadsticks available as sides, and although I have not tried them yet, I am sure they are delicious as well. This place is slightly old-fashioned in their way of doing things, though. If you come, make sure you have some cash or your checkbook with you because the last time I was there, they didn’t accept credit/debit cards. If you’re looking to pick up pizza, head home, and watch a movie with your family, I would totally recommend this place. Although if you bring your kids with you to pick the pizza up, they might eat it before you...

Finally got around to trying this place out because it has a lot of great reviews but honestly the pizza was just ok not great for us. The pizza itself is lacking flavor, the sauce needs something, needs some garlic salt added. The pepperoni is good but you can't just top pizza with pepperoni that has a good taste and expect the pizza to be great so it was definitely lacking for us. The salad was good but they only offered a small size nothing bigger so we had to order 2 salads. The wings had good flavor but they were all very small in size and you only get about 6 or 7 pieces. Another downfall to me is that they only take cash...this is a big inconvenience for many people who don't always have cash on hand. They are a small take-out place so don't expect to eat there. Will we be going again....after spending about $75....unfortunately no. It just didn't make an impression for us and wasn't worth the money in...

My son and I tried this pizza place for the first time today… We have heard people rave about it so We decided to finally try it out… and oh my goodness! First of all, the staff are so kind and friendly, and welcoming…especially Greg who I found out was the owner… He just made us feel so at home, provided me a coupon to use when I asked about specials, and even walk the pizza out to me as I sat in my car and waited. Such a friendly vibe, and authentic tasting pizza with fresh ingredients, and very generous toppings! This will definitely be one our new go-to...
