I'm sorry I'm not one to yelp but today my 7 year old and I went to try it out and support our new local spot in town and the owner had a horrible attitude because I asked the worker how much would it be for additional scoops of Poke and she said $2.00. The owner rushed out with a attitude and said NO! because it was a loss for him because it wasn't at the moment that I placed my order, mind you i had just paid within minutes and the reason i had asked for additional scoops were because the octopus was really tough and my 7 year old couldn't bite into it, and instead of complaining I figured I would just pay for another side. The employee had told him I had just payed and he did not care! he told me I had to buy a whole new bowl. I felt her embarrassment and well as I did as other customers walked in with a confused look. I will NOT support this kind of business in my town, nor will i EVER have anything good to say about it! We have way better establishments with gracious, kind attitudes towards new customers. I would have understood if I was told and if he would have just said for future visits this is how it goes, but no he went all wrong and sorry buddy but i believe in first impressions and i wont be recommending your place anytime soon. Surprisingly enough when I sat down and received my plate of food it smelled funny as I got closer I took in a deep breath and the ginger that was on top of my Romain soup dish had expired. Yes expired! I brought this to the attention to the cashier she took my dish back and gave me another one without the expired changer. The smell was mildewy moldy and rotten, just let everyone know I’m a big fan of ginger, pickle ginger, raw ginger and ginger drinks, so I know my ginger. I went today for the first time and everything was great. My food was perfect and couldn’t be any better! The staff was nice and the restaurant was so clean! There is free water to drink and their water station was nice. They also have a small stand with sauces and other stuff that was perfect for every need. They also have a little guide on how to order at the glass. It helped me a lot. We will definitely be coming back. It was a bit pricey though.
