The food was so delicious we went back a second time during our trip across SD! We stopped for dinner the first time and lunch the second time. The dining room is fairly small and is very clean. The booth we were seated in both times was clean and comfortable. During dinner they were busy and the food came out quickly despite all of the tables seated! One of us is Vegan and they were able to tell us what was vegan and assured us what fit the dietary restrictions. The first stop we ordered: Vegetable samosas that were crispy, hot, and nicely seasoned. They're served with two dipping sauces. A herb chutney and a red vinegar based sauce (I believe) the chutney was fresh and refreshing. I loved the red sauce and wish I would have asked what it was because it was amazing. It was acidic, with a hint of vinegar, and slightly sweet. It paired beautifully with the potato/pea samosas filling. For the main entrees I had ordered the chicken korma which was delicious. The sauce was beautiful and thick. The vegan entree ordered was the vegetable curry. It was loaded with fresh vegetables with a flavorful curry sauce. The entrees came with a large bowl of basmati rice. We also ordered the garlic naan and the onion kulcha. Both breads were thin, crispy, and hot. The garlic was a strong flavor that paired well with the curries. The onion kulcha had medium sized pieces of red onion throughout that made for a flavorful bread! The servings were incredibly generous. I believe we both ate roughly half of our food and had plenty of leftovers for later that night. For the second trip we ordered the paneer curry which was really good. I had never ordered it before so I wasn't sure what to expect. The cheese cubes had a firmness similar to form tofu. They were pleasantly chewy and had the cheese squeak! We also ordered the chana masala which was loaded full of chickpeas with a thinner sauce. We of course ordered both of the same breads and samosas as the time before because we couldn't get over how good they were. All in all everything was amazing and I really wish that we could have brought the restaurant home to Missouri with us. I can say without a doubt if Everest Cuisine is open for service the next time we find ourselves in the area we will not hesitate to go back for more!

This is the first time I visited Everest Cuisine restaurant! being a lover of Indian and Nepalese food I was really looking forward to some good food. But it is very sad for me to say that this is the worst ever Indian/Nepalese food. I wish I could give -5 stars if there was an option. The food is straight bland, the basic ingredient of all food SALT was missing in all the dishes we ordered. The coke tasted like water mixed (before the ice melting into it). I did not take many pictures of the food this time just because I was seriously disappointed. The basic common Indian dishes which are served at least average in all the Indian restaurants is also far below average here. The naan bread is tasteless, the curries were all just tasteless and seemed very unhealthy! I felt like throwing up trying to eat that food, we could barely finish any food and had to throw away a lot of food. The portion sizes are very small and they use a lot of frozen food. For example, the chicken meat balls were served straight out of some frozen box: cold, dry and tasteless! Ambiance is below average when compared to the competing restaurants in the region. There are flies all over the dining area. Highly recommend to go to this place at your own risk! I’ll pray you do not get sick eating this food and not waste your money here. This place needs to take this seriously if they want to continue their business. Please first know and taste your food before serving garbage to your customer.

Don't judge a book by its cover. That is what we discovered here. Apparently the secrets out because the parking lot was jammed full of cars. From the outside it didn't look big enough to be a restaurant. Certainly not a good one despite the amount of cars in the parking lot. On the inside we were pleasantly surprised to find ample sitting room with a room full of noisy chatter from happy customers taking care of their own hunger pains. I was pleasantly shocked. If you've read our other reviews you already know that the owners of Graceful Touch massage therapy are vegan. It can make eating out a bit challenging. They had a buffet setup with plenty of options for people like us. We were welcome to go back for more if we wanted. After we had already opted into the buffet we discovered that they also had a menu. After enjoying their buffet we can't wait to go back and try the menu.

TLDR: Please spend your money at this business. I have repeatedly found nothing but amazing service, and a wonderful array of incredibly filling, comforting dishes here. Best restaurant in rapid city for Indian-Nepalese food HANDS DOWN. If I had the means I would go here daily.

Also, if you are just thinking of getting some to go, they offer take out, and have always been fast, and the food is fresh and wonderfully packaged. Take a naan basket home with you!

The food at everest cuisine is hands-down the most authentic, mouth-watering-ly tasty food in all of rapid city. Me and my girlfriend regularly visit everest at least once a month - that is, on months where we dont go very often. REGARDLESS, this restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The lady who works there is incredibly friendly, and always greets us when we go, and its always a wonderful experience. I love to explore outside of my comfort zone occasionally when I am eating indian food, and Everest has NEVER dissapointed me.

Here are a few of my personal must-haves: Chicken Makhani (butter chicken)

Chicken Tikka Masala

Garlic Cheese Naan

Tandoori Chicken (I enjoy bone-in, but boneless is also wonderful. Bunch of absolutely mind-meltingly delish veggies tossed in some absolutely wonderful spices, served sizzling. I reccomend. ASK FOR RAITA alongside it. Trust me, its wonderful.)

Onion Kulcha

Any Samosa. Samosa Chat is delish too, its served cold, but it is refreshing, and FULL of flavor. Lots of yogurt, mint sauce (it works wonderfully), and tamarind. Oh, and this AMAZING dust of their "signature" seasoning. Im not sure what it is for sure, but they dust it on their lamb samosa, as well as their chicken pakoda. I wish I had the...

Detailed Description: Ambience: 4⭐ Value of money: 5⭐ Choices: 5 ⭐ Taste:5⭐

Everest Cuisine provides truly authentic Indian cuisine. From all the Indian restaurant I have dined before, this is one of the best. I am visiting in SD for a few days and I have been hunting some great food. Surprisingly, I could find a restaurant that offers such a authentic Indian food. For those who indulge in Indian cuisine, and you ever plans a trip to Rapid City in SD, this is a place you should consider in your itinerary.

About the ambience in Everest Cuisine, I can't comment on it as I was having a to go order. However, based on my first impression, the restaurant setting is clean, neat and cozy. The outlook of the restaurant looks old and tear. However, never judge a book by its cover, this place does offer great 👍 food

In terms of value of money, the food is definitely worth the penny here! I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo and Lamb Biryani. The portion of the food was huge and the I could find a great deal of lamb 🐑 in it.

For choices, the restaurant does offer a variety of Indian dishes, as well as Nepal cuisine. The choices might give you a hard time to choose from as it has a plenty of selection available.

In regards to taste, the dishes were authentically delicious! I could taste the savories of Indian spices from the first bite of the food. There are a good number of Indian restaurants, they seem like using a lot of spice substitute that makes the taste of the food less authentic. But I am confident that Everest Cuisine has done their best in using the most original spices on their menu.

Thus, I would definitely try the restaurant again and this would be one of my recommendation for a visit...
