Ok, first impressions of this place. Let's start off with the ambience. that is heavily inspired by the anime show Naruto. There are murals, and statues of these figures around the place with the anime music also playing in the background. Nice touches since the name of the place is named after a main character in the show. The have Japanese lanterns hanging in from the ceiling and has adequate nice lighting. The seating is where we start to nick pick a bit here. If you choose a booth along the side of the place your fine. It works quite nicely, however if you get a table that is floating in the middle of the restaurant, not so much fun. The tables are really close together, so much so, that your almost rubbing shoulders with the person behind you. So, if you're a bigger person, like me who is 6'5" your cramped into this little table and no leg space. I recommend getting a booth! The staff is very courteous and polite, with being friendly that doesn't come off as fake. I appreciate that much. Now the menu! The food is quite good and tasty! From the Pork Gyoza appetizer to the Salmon and Terriyaki Chicken Bento Boxes, to the Tonkotsu Rich Garlic Ramen were all really well done and tasty! However, the bento box's salad and shumai were a little underwhelming. The rice was fantastic, rich and heavy really helped the box out! The ramen definitely had garlic in it because you could taste it quite a bit but that is a minor annoyance. The food is authentic enough for around these parts, but the place is trying to be a more of a hybrid between traditional ramen place where they spend hours just making the broth, and fast food to get it out to you fast enough so they can get more customers. This place is really good, but not the best. The prices were all fair and pretty much dead on for what you get in return. Overall, this place is a really great addition to Rapid City! If you are new to any type of Japanese Ramen style foods, this place is a great introduction into that! Just make sure you have the seaweed removed from your bowls if you don't like your meal to taste too fishy or like the ocean.

Ramen enthusiasts rejoice! The newly opened Ramen restaurant is a culinary gem that effortlessly blends a fun and charming atmosphere with delectable cuisine. From the moment you step in, the vibrant decor and warm ambiance set the stage for a delightful dining experience. The menu, a thoughtful curation of traditional and innovative ramen dishes, does not disappoint. Each bowl is a masterpiece of flavor, showcasing perfectly cooked noodles, rich, aromatic broths, and a medley of top-notch ingredients. Whether you're a fan of classic tonkotsu or adventurous enough to try their unique fusion creations, there's something to satisfy every palate. What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is its service. The staff are not only knowledgeable about the menu but also exude a genuine passion for ramen, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. They're attentive without being intrusive, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable meal. In summary, this new Ramen spot is a must-visit for both ramen aficionados and newcomers alike. It's a place where the love for ramen is palpable in every detail, from the ambience to the food, making it a standout in the culinary scene.

Honest Review starting with the good: Amazing atmosphere & good customer service (from the small interaction I had) The best dish out of the 3 I bought would be the steamed Shumai. However, I don’t think the price point was really justified with these dishes. I lived in Japan for 6 years so I guess this is the closest thing you can get to “authentic” here in Rapid City. The Japanese KatsuDon I ordered lacked flavor and substance. The pork was tender but the American style BBQ sauce overpowered the dish. Which didn’t make it seem authentic. The pork buns were good but they were a little on the pricey side as well. Overall, I’ll have to side with another review I read. I think this restaurant still has a lot to learn & tweak. They have potential to bring more life into their dishes. I didn’t have a chance to actually sit down and eat. So I may come back again.

Okay, let’s talk good and meh. The good: The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Awesome Naruto theme, wood paneled all the way through and gimmicky ramen sculptures that tie together a great vibe. The ramen was delicious. I thought the broth had a great depth, and the noodles had a fresh texture. The customer service was good as well. We had an issue with our food when we got home, and after a phone call, the restaurant offered to replace it at no cost if I would come back to the restaurant. I will definitely be going back in the future and try dining in. Now for the meh: We placed a pick up order and were told the food would take about 20 minutes. We arrived at the restaurant to pick up our food and it wasn’t ready, so we were seated to wait. We were probably waiting for 30 minutes before our food was finally ready. The ramen was the first thing in the bag when we got there, and we were waiting 30 minutes for an appetizer. By the time we got home, the soup was cold. When my husband went to pour his broth into the take away bowls they provide, the bowl was cracked on the bottom and the broth spilled everywhere. I called them and they said I could come and pick up a replacement at no cost. In conclusion, this is a new restaurant and I believe they’re still honing in their craft. I would love for them to have a permanent place in Rapid, since the food is delicious and the vibe is wonderful. If you eat there, be patient and remember they’re just starting. And don’t be afraid to report a problem to your server, because they seem well versed in...

I am sick and my wife is sick from the food yesterday! My food was forgotten about as well as me having to send it back once it was brought out. I have a simple food allergy which is corn- twice I’ve gone to this restaurant and twice they’ve served me corn. I’m laying in bed right now at 10:30 at night throwing up and itching. This shouldn’t be an issue at a ramen restaurant. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I won’t be returning to the restaurant- and I come from Asian decent. Very dissatisfied with the taste of the chashu as well as the broth and service. They depend on one waiter to clean and serve all tables while the two other cook/manager sits behind the bar and eats food for customers to see. Very very disappointing. I shouldn’t have to get sick after paying to eat at a restaurant. Coming from one who grew up in Hawaii. THIS is NOT Authentic Ramen in any shape or form. You have to ask for bamboo in your ramen- the broth taste like canned pork broth, that has zero flavor. I could continue to go on. Very westernized and if you want a better experience- go to ramen Satto! I hope management reads my review as the excuse you’re serving for “authentic Ramen” is the farthest thing from it, and depending on one person during a lunch rush as you sit there and eat is ignorant and...
