My husband came to eat here because it was close to his work and we didn't want fast food. We got seated and our waitress brought us water and asked what we would like to drink. We gave her our drink order and she walks over to the fountain. Well I was quick to learn that she was in training. The manager Justine was extremely rude to the trainee. Yelling at her to do everything. One of the other waitresses told her to start running. Fix drinks this way not that way. You should always have coffee pot in your hand (while running). You could tell by the look on the trainee's face she felt like she was doing a horrible job. The manager Justine kept on and on to the point that we couldn't finish eating our food without losing our temper. So we left our barely eaten food on the table. I HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN TO ANY BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT BEFORE IN MY LIFE WHERE A MEMBER OF MANAGEMENT SPOKE TO THEIR EMPLOYEES WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT. My heart went out to the girl. She was doing an amazing job and I told her that and she looked at me and said that made her night. She was doing a great job!!! The food wasn't that great either but that was the least of my concern. Manager Justine, I hope this review opens your eyes to how you treat them. Read moreI know this post is gonna be confusing But I have a lot of good things to say about this place!! But at the same time I have some things I gotta say😓 i kno that this is a business. But I had got hired believeing this is a family based job. I had a rough start juggling my kids getting to school n having to go get my kids at the same time. My employer made it seem like they were so understanding. Imma get to the point I thought everything was ok. I even asked my boss if I could go pick up my child being he was having problems breathing at school. They said I had to go pick him up and take him home. So i asked her if it was ok to go get him n drop him off at home. She said it waa was ok. I asked again if I would be in trouble for doing so . She said I'm not in trouble. She said no it's fiñe and i apologized for it. I told her I would be on time for tomorrow. After I got home she sent me a message saying they don't wanna waist my time or theresand they had to let me go 😭😭😭. I loved this jobso much was proud of being part of the team. I was so confused and hurt I cried all afternoon about it. Read moreI frequent Millstone at least once or twice a week. Service today was absolutely terrible. The waitress was clearly in a rush to have us gone. She took our order, never refilled the drinks even after seeing we had finished our waters and had refilled waters around us. She brought the food out without comment - later returning to ask how everything was. I responded, "It's good" as I was sipping the remains of my drink. She responded by shouting, "I ASKED YOU HOW IT WAS!!!" She then clipped the bill into the table tent and stormed off - never returning to refill the drink or to offer me desert. My wife and I left both hungry for a desert and thirsty for more water. Upon paying the bill at the front, the Assistant Manager was working the register. I told her that the server was extremely rude as I crossed out the tip line and wrote "RUDE" at the top of my receipt. The manager responded, "I'm sorry to hear that." Nothing more came of this. Apparently Millstone has reduced its customer service standards to include hostile staff and inattentive managers. We're regulars at this restaurant and have come to expect enjoyable service.
