Blackwood ink is a very professional environment, super clean and organized! My artist Kris does a phenomenal job at black & grey realism and loves what he does. Everyone is super friendly and most importantly confident which is what you want when receiving permanent art on your body. I for one will only use Blackwood ink in South Dakota from now on. If you have a big project or want a tattoo that is going to really wow people, I 11/10 recommend Blackwood Ink tattoos out of Rapid City, SD!! Seriously cannot get over how good my tattoo turned out. Blackwood ink is by far the best tattoo shop in the area. I have been getting tattooed in the shop for months. Staff is always friendly, and the facility is extremely clean and provides a comfortable atmosphere. I get tattooed by Wayan. His work is clean, and always turns out amazing! Wayan is a 10 out of 5 star tattoo artist who always brings your ideas/wants to life. His attention to small details always leaves me in awe after getting a tattoo by him!

This had to be the worse experience i’ve ever had getting my piercing and tattoos. The first time i came to get a nose piercing some time back i booked an appointment for 3pm and ended up leaving waiting until 9pm just to leave, Had to work overnight that night it was terrible gotten no sleep because of this. Then i came in today for a tattoo & they did an awful job on this it’s sloppy but this time my appointment was on time. But the art just looks overall just bad it’s oversized and not neat.
