Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Rapid City

My wife placed an online order earlier this afternoon for a 3:45pm pick-up. She arrived to Papa Murphy's at 3:40pm to pick up our dinner. She expected to wait maybe 10 minutes in case things were running behind. She ended up waiting 30 minutes!

When she walked in, the place was very busy; everyone was picking up their Friday night dinners. An employee greeted my wife by shouting, "Online orders are on the shelf!" My wife proceeded to the shelf to look for our pizza and our order was nowhere to be seen. She figured they were working on our order, so she took a seat and waited.

Many people walked in, ordered their pizza, received their order, then walked out while my wife continued to wait for our food. The place was so d* busy that none of the employees bothered to check in with the woman who had been waiting awhile on the bench (social cues, much?). Finally, my wife caught the eye contact of one of the employees and mentioned that she had been waiting awhile for our food. My wife conveyed the name on the order and the employee went to the back of the store and then came back out with our food. This screamed 2 things to me...

1. They made our food hours before, so our food wasn't fresh.

2. None of the employees checked in with my wife who had been waiting for 30 MINUTES!!! Do people not pick up on social cues anymore??!!

If you do business with this Papa Murphy's, don't bother with a scheduled online order. You might as well walk in and order your food because they don't pay any attention to...

I’ve come to this location for years and never had any complaints until my last few visits. It’s just not improved so I’m here. The staff is young which doesn’t necessarily mean I believe they’re not good workers, but immature comments toward one another, particularly about someone’s weight one day, really bothered me. It’s inappropriate. Second, the pizza. Always been my favorite pizza in town, but they have been so sloppy and thrown together lately that I come home and have to rearrange the I walked out one day and the wrapping almost blew off my pizza. I was so looking forward to the limted Beef Taco Grande pizza. I ordered on the APP at 5:30 and would be ready by 6:05. We went to pick-up the order at 6:13 and the pizza was not ready and was told they me they ran out of large dough. However, the status in the APP showed complete. We returned at 7pm. By the time we got home and noticed the Beef Taco Grande was missing the beef, taco seasoning, refried beans, and salsa the store was closed at 8pm. Instead of beef they put sausage.
