Speed Goat is a great addition to downtown. Seeing these locally owned, high quality businesses do well helps me enjoy being downtown. I have stopped by on a few occasions since they opened and have been satisfied each time. I am normally a black coffee kind of guy (which they nail every time) but I went wild and got a caramel macchiato today. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not too sweet and still had a good coffee flavor. I also had a burrito that was hot and delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable with plenty of seating, the staff is attentive, their coffee and food quality is impressive and the prices are on point. I was in Rapid City for a week-long vacation and needed a spot to get a few hours of work done each day. I started going to Speed Goat Express and ended up returning every day.
