Listen, I have never posted a public review on google.
This family - All three brothers, Rest In Peace their mom who passed from co-vid, which is irrelevant to this review, are nothing but A+ 5*.
Iāve known the brothers who own and operate the business for over 10 years. The quality, professionalism, and personal touch they have is nothing short of amazing. Iāve never given a google or online review before, And yet I feel compelled to do so on their behalf for my first time because of their attention to detail and personal touch. I hope they see this as a small measure of my appreciation.
To them, I am known as āPete from DPVā. I have ordered take out on the fly, slices tag the counter, catering jobs with 1 days notice for a significant amount of full size trays.
The service, from both the family and their employees, has never been short of top notch.
The food, has never been less than generous in both portion size and quality. Guests at my events have raved at the job they do.
What more could I say as far as a family owned business, who is receptive and sensitive your needs - be it prior or on short notice - that they meet and exceed every stand that one could measure. I have been nothing short of pleased at every interaction I have ever had. They are punctual, reliable, affordable. The quality is unmistakeable.
I will be going to Joeās for as long as they stay open. A good and reputable family, with a product and service that outpaces that. There is a reason they close at 8 - their food and service is on demand from the time they open until closing time.
Donāt cheat yourself. Go with them. They have great quality food with a personal touch that is unmatched. The owners are all family men. Talk to them for 5 minutes over the phone or in person at the shop and you will see.
-From Pete from DPV, to many more years of you guys saving my catering chestnuts from the fire with short notice and being punctual, responsive, and meeting/exceeding the mark every time. See you the next time I am back in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst of all I have to say, being a former owner of a food shop, these boys who own Joes Pizza, are the only Italian pizza place in flemington that are actually Italian and cook at there own place. I think all of the pizza places in flemington, the cooks are spanish and they dont really understand the art of making a good pizza. Unfortunately its how it is, spanish people are good workers but are cheap laborers. So in that case I give these guys alot of credit. I love eating there. Im there almost everyday for lunch and I see alot of same customers there everyday. Well I eat all there subs hot and cold, homemade sub rolls are awesome, pizza is top notch, from there plain pie to the grandma pie btw its the best in flemington, no one in flemington is better. Some pizza places claim there grandma taste like New York, but I have news for you I lived in Bensonhurst, for 30 years and New York pizza has gone down hill. I have had better pizza in New Jersey. (but not down the shore, awful!!! lol) Eggplant, chicken and patsa dinners are are very good too. If you decide to order take out on friday nights, call ahead, good food equals long wait, sometimes up to 45 minutes, small place packs up fast. Sorry this review is so long, when I read reviews, I feel like people just want tell you about there bad experience, well no one is perfect. But the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday I had a cancellation of an appointment so I decided it was the day to try Joes Pizzeria in Flemington. I had been there years ago but went back to check it out again . First, the place was very friendly.. the staff all seemed to get along and I noticed overhearing some conversations that lots of the patrons were working people who go there frequently to eat and chat . Looks like a good place to hang with buddies or a family in a warm friendly pizza place..Lots of buddy convo going on as well as lots of assorted pies to select from, and yes some a bit different than Iāve seen around lately in most places. The slices were a decent size and reasonably priced as well . Since itās more active than most Pizzerias Iāve been to, nothing looks old on the counter.. as a matter of fact, I was there just as the pepperoni n sausage pies came out of the oven, so I took a sausage slice and enjoyed it .. I might have come back to try a more unusual topping next time and Iām sure thereās a next time. They know enough not to totally cover all the pie with cheese, so you can taste the sauce too. They offer a few unusual selections daily one popular example was a grilled chicken pesto Sun dried tomatoes creation among others . They put lots of toppings on not just a touch! Iād say give it a try .. I think youāll be back for more, I...
