First we usually love Jersey Mike’s. However tonight’s experience was less than Stella. My order was wrong. I ordered a giant chicken onion peppers with extra American, Mayo and tomato. What I got was a chicken, a few onions, peppers, tomato, LETTUCE and no Mayo. In addition once it was cooked on the grill and the cook was transferring it to the roll the two spatular separated and half of the filling fell back on the grill the other half fell on the counter next to the grill and never made it into the sandwich. Then he went back to the grill to scoop up the rest but the filling was definitely lacking. And the cheese on half of the sub was missing and lastly the roll didn’t taste or feel fresh like they usually do. The other sub was a chicken with onions and peppers along with banana peppers and although that sub was supposed to have provolone it was made with American. And the way the sub was wrapped when we got home and unwrapped it didn’t matter what type of cheese was supposed to be n the sub as it was all stuck to the paper wrapper. So all in all it was a disappointing evening at Jersey Mike’s at the Somerville Circle. I hope this feed back helps. I think the team was struggling this evening because the order before ours was wrong also, after the people left they came back because one of the subs was wrong and the cashier who I think was also supervising the third associate who was cleaning admitted he made a mistake and said it in a very nice manner but nonetheless two customers inclusive or four people had incorrect food given to them. To me that is a red flag saying there might be bigger problems. Lastly, the person cooking had a big head of hair and had no hat or net on his head. He was a very nice person very polite when he handed us our order but I think a hat or hair net would be appropriate. As I said before I hope the feedback helps. I love Jersey Mike’s and want to see them exceed customer expectations not miss them...
Read moreI will never order from them again, back on July 22nd I placed an order for 5 subs for pick up. The site told me it would be ready for pick up at 12:04 when I got to the store at 12:20 they said they just got the order and it would take a couple minuets to get the order ready. When I got to my job and gave everyone their subs 3 out of the 5 were wrong!!! 2 of them were Italian subs and should have had everything on them that comes on an Italian and nothing but meat and mayo. The other should have been turkey with cheese, lettuce, and mustard. What we got was turkey with mayo. I then tried to call the store and got the voicemail for about 2 hours. Finally when I got in touch with the store they told me they would refund me for the 3 subs that were wrong. It is not August 9th and I STILL have yet to be refunded. I have tried contacting the store MULTIPLE times and get the run around. I then contacted Jersey Mikes customer service and they told me they would get in touch with the store. This is horrible I shouldn't have to case them for my money back when they made the error... Overly annoyed...
Read moreWe've been going to this Jersey Mike's location since it opened. Never had a problem until today. We always order the Italian sub and the workers ask us if we want to put the seasoning sauces on, as it is an ITALIAN SUB, and most people want it. Today, we ordered our usual Italian sub, and as the employee was wrapping it up, I asked just in case, if she has put the sauces on. She told me that she hadn't, when I asked her to put it on, she rudely refused. She did give us sauce in lil containers, which we simply put in our subs before we ate them. Not complaining about having to put on our own sauce, cause it's not a big deal, but the rudeness of the worker was really offputting
As someone who works in food customer service, if a customer just asked me to put the sauce in, (because it was already supposed to be on there) I just do it. That's literally what I'm being paid to do, and it's not difficult to just be nice. I know how tiring this line of work can be, but from one food server to another.. come on..
Feeling slightly bitter and in a tiny act of retribution we won't be going...
