McDonald's — Restaurant in Rayne

August 4, 2024, the ladies at the drive through GTG. I’ve worked at McDonald’s before and enjoyed it while I was there, get out of customer service if have no damn customer service! We pull up to drive thru Lady: you ganna be using mobile app? Husband: No ma’am Long silence Lady:okay order? 😡 Husband: 1st mean with a large Ice coffee add caramel drizzle. (Screen shows hot coffee) husband repeats it (no changes on screen). He adds second meal same coffee. She said pull forward.

Husband: Can you repeat my order. Just want to make sure both coffees are LARGE CARAMEL ICED COFFEE ADD CARAMEL DRIZZLE! Lady: confirms!

We pull up to second window where the ladies together are worse than the first. One hot coffee and 2 iced coffee no drizzle! 😡

Husband: sorry I didn’t have a hot coffee, but can I just get some caramel drizzle on side and I’ll add to coffee!

White lady: stares at him and says the first one had drizzle! Husband:ya but I asked for both! White lady: walks off😡 Black lady! I WILL HAVE TI CHARGE YOU FOR THE DRIZZLE, and here is the coffee you ordered! Husband: ma’am I didn’t order that, I’m not asking for money back if yall charged me just give me the caramel drizzle and I’m good! Black lady! Ima have to charge you! ME(wife): LADY, he isn’t asking for the money for the coffee he didn’t order just sub it for the drizzle! 🙄 Black lady: rolls her damn eyes and comes back with a cup of the caramel drizzle….

I hope she doesn’t go broke, hopefully she gets a raise! God damn I laughed so hard when we drive off, It’s like ordering a large drink with extra ice and only getting ONE ice cube...

PLEASE CHECK ALL THE ONE STAR COMPLAINTS! If you’re hungry for McDonald’s, I understand. We all get hungry for their magical slop from time to time. Our bodies crave it. Nonetheless, drive a little ways down the road to Crowley or Scott!! “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men OR women to do nothing”… you will leave empty handed, robbed of your order, and pissed off beyond imagination if you attempt to do business with this Rayne branch. They have robbed people of money and food for a while now and I’m not even sure how this is legal and how they continually get away with it. There’s no way in hell they cannot refund your purchase if they can’t deliver the promised purchase of food. This particular location is a CULT!!! I would hate for someone broke, like myself, to go for a meal and leave robbed and hungry. Judas people I tell you!!!!! McDonald’s will hire anybody. Do you really want these people preparing your food when they rob people left and right?! Nothing is beyond their capabilities at this point! McDonald’s owes me money. If I went there and went behind the counter and helped myself to the FOOD I PAID FOR you know they wouldn’t hesitate to call the cops. Injustice. I try very hard to always have something good to say about restraunts because I understand that the service industry can be very difficult. On this particular visit, everything seemed a little off. When I walked in, I noticed the trash was over flowing, there were multiple tables that weren't wiped off. At this point, I had figured there was a massive rush, so I was just going to overlook it.

I placed my order at the kiosk as I always do. And I waited patiently as my food was being prepared. While I was waiting, the customer I passed as I was walking in returned to the store to inform the staff that his 2 kids meals were cold, the fries and burgers.

So while they were preparing my food, they got right on making this gentleman warm food as to be expected. In doing such, I had assumed that since the fries had more than likely just come out of the fries, I would luck out and get a hot batch of fries.

Being in a hurry I didn't check my bag, I returned to my vehicle and once I was on the road I reached in to grab some fresh and hot fries, only to be sadly mistaken because they were luke warm at best and they were ridiculously soggy as though they had been sitting in the warmer for 30 min.

So I then turned to my sandwich, the coveted McRib. Only to be just disappointed because it was also luke warm and had so much BBQ sauce that the box was just as soggy as the sandwich.
