Would really like to give it a 4.5! Inventive menu using all organic ingredients with choices to fit every dietary need. Ordering was easy and we were provided with good advice on menu items. Since the weather was glorious, we opted to eat outside in the garden at the rear of the restaurant. We sat at an upscale picnic table surrounded by fall plantings and the summer's leftover crops. It was like eating in a good friend's well-tended backyard. We had avocado toast, fish tacos and tailgate tacos. The fish tacos on homemade naan shells were very flavorful. The crunchy sweet citrus slaw provided a lovely contrast to the fish and the cilantro vinaigrette really tied it all together. The tailgate tacos, a vegan option, were a combination of garlic-herb hummus, avocado-quinoa smash and the shredded cabbage/lettuce/radish that worked very well together. The crunchy fresh veggies prevented the dish from straying into the "too mushy" arena and the chipotle cashew cream added some nice additional flavor. I would have liked just a little extra heat in these tacos. The avocado toast was delicious- dense grainy bread with a crunchy crust, smooth, creamy avocado and a kick of chili flakes to wake up the taste buds! Can't forget the KO lemonade- we had lavender and blueberry/mint. Both were refreshing and, best of all, not cloyingly sweet so the flavors of the lemon, lavender, and blueberry shown through. I can't wait to go back and sample more...
Read moreVisiting from out of state my sister-in-law recommended we eat at this gluten-free restaurant. I was excited to try it. I ordered the turkey club along with russet wedges. The sandwich was good earning 4 stars; the russet wedges not so good; room temperature and dry, earning 1/2 star because they were mostly edible except for a few overly dried out ones. I was thinking they should be hot moist and a bit crispy. There is no detailed description- one orders using their phone app and they deliver the food to your table. These were the worst potato wedges ever served to me from a restaurant in my 60 year life. Leftover McDonalds french fries taken out of my refrigerator after a day or two and warmed in a microwave would have been more satisfying (a memory from times earlier when I could eat gluten and not diagnosed with celiac). I have to believe the russet potato wedges are generally much better there must have been a bad decision made to serve...
Read moreA TRULY SAFE PLACE As someone who suffers from celiac disease, I have to be very careful about what I eat and where I eat. Gluten is a hidden danger for me, and even a trace amount can make me sick. That's why I rarely dine out, unless I'm at this place. This place is a haven for people like me, who need to avoid gluten at all costs. I have been here many many times, and I have never had any adverse reaction. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and they take cross-contamination very seriously. They use certified gluten-free products whenever possible, and they don't allow any gluten in their kitchen. This place is not only safe, but also delicious. The food is fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Whether you have celiac disease or not, you should give this place a try. It's worth the drive (I live 40 minutes away) and you...
