Magical...It's the only word that comes to mind to describe Gina's talent. She's like a freakin' Unicorn...rare, amazing, and an overall stunner.

When I got engaged, the first thing I did was start the search for... you guessed it, THE dress! Thankfully, I found it on pinterest very quickly;however, finding it in person was more difficult. It was out of my budget and I had to search for it on used dress sites. After a few weeks I finally found it....in a size 8. Cool right? Well, not really..I am a size 0. Now what? You buy it anyway...which is what i did.I figured 'how hard could it be to find someone to alter it?'. Apparently, very hard. No bridal store would help me because "I didn't buy it from them". So what did I do? I took to google where I found Zatsarinas Fashion. A definite win for me! I contacted Gina, set up an appointment and my dress journey began.

When i arrived, I didn't now what to expect. Would she tell me it's too much work? Could she get an 8 to a 0 without it looking weird? Would it cost me too much money? Spoiler alert...she could, and she did and it was magnificent!

I got in the dressing room thinking I'd have to explain everything I wanted, but before I even had a chance,I was in the dress..she had me pinned and tucked in literally 5 minutes time. I looked in the mirror at MY dress. It fit me...I could envision it. It looked normal. Perfect. It was like she was in my mind. Knowing what I wanted without a word. I knew I could trust her after that. She, hands down, knew what she was doing.

Over the course of the next year, Gina and her husband took this ride with me. They became friends. People I looked forward to seeing. Not only are Gina and her team professional and talented, they genuinely care about their customers. Gina never rushed me at any fitting, she made sure everything was perfect, and wouldn't let me leave until things were exactly how they needed to be. There were times I was like "this is fine" and she'd be like "nope! not yet". I even brought my rehearsal dress, bridal shower and bachelorette jumper to her too because, well, I'm spoiled now by expert tailoring. Turns outs Gina isn't only naturally good at what she does, shes highly learned in her craft. She's went to school all over the world for years and it shows in her final garments. She put so much work into my dress. She had to remake an entire double bustle for my train, make two veils out of one, and hem it all because I'm so short. Gina was extremely hands on. You can often find her on the floor working with your dress, showing you what to do, and really makes it easy. She has a customer and friend for life, not just by me, but by several of my friends who also subsequently used her.

Thank you Gina and Victor for all you have done. You made my journey an absolute joy. Thank you for the dress of my dreams.

Bottom line: If you want to truly be cared for, from start to finish, all with expert tailoring...Zatsarinas Fashion is where you need to go.Magical...It's the only word that comes to mind to describe...

One of the biggest regrets of my wedding planning was trusting this seamstress.

I spent thousands of dollars on my wedding dress and continued to be charged weekly for alterations, only to have it fall apart—literally—within the first five minutes of my wedding day.

As I stood up on the bus to head to the church, the seams directly below my private area had already come undone. (that’s right, it didn’t bust open or break- was just sewn so poorly they came loose, right where the to front pieces met and I was completely exposed.) I was supposed to walk down the aisle in 15 minutes and physically could not close my dress. My maid of honor had to step in and secure the gown with a safety pin—and that five-cent pin held all night, unlike the work I paid so much for.

It gets worse. Just three days before my wedding, I tried on the dress and the top didn’t fit at all. The chest area was so loose that if I leaned over, everything was exposed. Her solution? “Use sticky tape.” Spoiler: it didn’t work. I ended up paying another seamstress $20 just two days before my wedding to make emergency fixes.

On the actual day, the final result was devastating. In all of my wedding photos, you can clearly see that the dress was cut unevenly—so much so that one side exposed an extreme amount of side bust. I couldn’t even lift my arms without feeling completely exposed. The dress wasn’t just unflattering, it was poorly constructed.

Looking back, I feel guilty that I told her the dress was “good” just days before the wedding. But at that point, I knew she wasn’t capable of fixing what she had done. I just wanted to leave and salvage what I could.

There were so many more mishaps between the 10 alteration meetings that I had that I can’t even get into. How she would cut parts of my dress off, blame me. There are many tears throughout. I still have not got my wedding pictures developed, because every single picture is ruined and destroyed because of my dress.

Seven months later, I still feel a deep sense of disappointment every time I think about my dress. Writing this isn’t easy, but I hope it helps someone else avoid going through what I did. My dress should’ve made me feel beautiful and confident—it became the single most stressful part of my wedding.

** in response to the owners comment- no I didn’t lose any weight- you continued to say that. If that was the case, shouldn’t have the dress got bigger rather than smaller? Why was the right side cut way too far in and not the left as seen in pictures? Why did my dress completely open up the day of the wedding before the wedding? Why did you continue to charge me thousands of dollars if you couldn’t fix it? You ruined the integrity of the dress, you’re correct. It wasn’t supposed to be joined in the middle- it was supposed to drape, and when I came in you cut it completely it was so high you could see my private parts. I was so upset on the second fitting after you...

Gina is literally the alterations queen!

I’m so glad I found Gina after a quick google search. I purchased my wedding dress and it had to be altered by someone who is extremely experienced working with wedding dresses. I had no idea where to look, as I never had to get anything professionally altered. I asked a few friends, but before I reached out to their recommendations, I took a few minutes to see what I could find online. I came across Zatsarina Fashion and after reading all of the reviews, I sent an email to schedule an appointment. Gina immediately responded and I went in for an appointment a few weeks later.

I don’t remember ever detail about the first time I walked into Zatsarina Fashion, but I do remember feeling like I made the right decision. Gina knew what to do right away. She took her time explaining everything that had to be done and the timing. I couldn’t believe all of the work that had to be done, and the way Gina explained it was like it was just another easy project! I was completely shocked. I knew my dress was going to look amazing, as I was leaving it in Gina’s hands.

I look forward to my fittings because I get to see Gina’s amazing outfits (her style is so chic!), and Gina and I get to converse while she’s adjusting my wedding dress to perfection.

Gina makes me feel so beautiful just by complimenting how good my dress looks on me. I’m a petite girl and not 100% happy with my weight, but for some reason her comments just make me feel amazing.

A few appointments later, and my dress fits like a glove! It’s unreal what Gina and her team can do. They’re special gifts from God!

To the brides, future brides, mother of the bride, or anyone looking for a phenomenal, patient, experienced person to complete alterations, look no further. Book an appointment with Gina and you won’t regret it! She also has casual and every day outfits that she designs and sells - so if you’re looking for something for a special occasion, or something simple and chic, reach out to her! I think you can even reach out to her on social media (she also posts a few pictures and videos of her designs so you get to see her most recent creations - a nice treat for fashionistas!) @zatsarinafashion

One last thing I wanted to mention - during these difficult times I think it’s so important to support small and local businesses! Zatsarina Fashion is definitely one I will always support and recommend forever (and I must mention that they follow the strict guidelines to a T which I really appreciate!).

I can’t express how thankful I am to have someone care about my needs and to ensure my wedding dress will be perfect. Thank you...

Cannot recommend Zatsarina enough or ever say enough amazing things about it. Gina, owner of Zatsarina Fashion, is an absolute ANGEL. Or Fairy godmother. I ran to her in distress 3 weeks before my wedding because the person I’d originally booked for my alterations bailed. I had no idea that this stressful situation would be such a blessing in disguise. In a panic, I reached out to every business that could do alterations within a 25 mile radius to me. Gina responded that day, telling me she could fit me in that weekend and assuring me she would take care of me. Because I was beyond grateful anyone responded, my expectations were not ready for the Zatsarina experience. She runs the most professional operation, but she is incredibly thorough and a clear master of her craft. She’s also incredibly kind and a joy to work with. I’m not only grateful someone was able to help, but after my experience at Zatsarina and how much more beautiful she made my dress than I ever imagined, I knew what originally seemed like a disaster was the world’s way of telling me I needed to go to Zatsarina. She really did such a beautiful job I know I would not have otherwise had on top of stepping in and stretching her SERIOUSLY reducing her timeline for me. The dress looked better than I ever imagined and it did so the entire night even after dancing all night long (and even sitting on the ground at one point). It’s still in perfect condition. Wish I’d gone to her from the start – I will going forward! If you want to feel as beautiful as possible in your wedding dress (or anything else) all day and night long, you have to go to Zatsarina.

I bought my dress & my cape at castle couture - I loved my dress & when it came time for alterations I did not trust them… I went for my first fitting once my dress came in … the fitting rooms (at castle couture) had two other brides where the alterations where way too small or the dresses were hemmed too short. Of course panicked because you spend so much money on a dress for one day I dove deep on research & reaching out to friends and family to find THE BEST … The best is Gina, I had multiple reccomdations about her work, attention to detail & her skill. I booked a full 5/6 months out to start the process. Her husband is fully involved in the business & was able to answer any & all questions I had when I booked and made the appointment. He also went over in full disclosure of how to care for the dress during the pick up process because I had a destination wedding. (They both have such high attention to detail) When meeting Gina she is thorough with asking multiple questions - we had full open communication, I came in with exactly what I wanted & needed - not only did she deliver well over my expectations - she is so kind & will make the process so meaningful. She hemmed , fixed my straps, she put boning into my dress for more structure where needed & added bead work where I wanted & it was just so incredible… She is so talented & beautiful ❤️
