Well this place used to be a hidden gem in red bank but the word is out. This place has some awesome tacos. The al pastor are my thing. Note very little English is spoken here and it is almost 100% local latinos. I really enjoy this spot. It gets railed on the weekend so tables are hard to get. You might have to wait 30-45 minutes for food but I enjoy it. There is usually futbol on the tvs. Good food, nice local latinos, and fair pricing. This is a family spot for the red bank Hispanic community.

If you want authentic Mexican tacos then you come to the right place!! But there's a few pointers. Order half an hour before you come in. 2. Make sure you order everything you want because if you forget to order anything else it will take another 30 Min. They are always busy but worth the wait! I posted a picture of my receipt so everyone can see how much i spent for 5 people. Make sure you order tacos de costilla con queso and tacos pastor con queso with flour tortilla

Great Tacos! My favorite is the Al Pastor. They give you a good amount. It was $14 for my meal. I like the cilantro (green sauce) and the spicy sauce. I took it to go and the service was good. I placed my order and was out in less than 10 minutes.

I came here in search of real deal Al pastor and found it. Al pastor is the adoption of the shawarma spit grilled meat likely brought to Mexico by Lebanese immigrants. It was transformed in Mexico to include slices of pork marinated in spices, chilis, and pineapple. The meat is usually sliced directly from the vertical spit directly onto corn tortillas and topped with some fresh onion, pineapple, and maybe chopped cilantro. Pure bliss.

This place in fact does it right, but it wasn't being carved directly off the spit when I visited. It seems they did it earlier in the day or maybe they had a slow night and used some leftovers. They ended up placing the meat on a flat top to heat it and then served us. The flavor was still great, and they had four different salsas that were absolutely killer in color and taste.

I will definitely be back frequently to try and actually see the elusive carving of meat. As happens to be the case for many great Mexican spots, don't let the...

We drove half hour to this “famous” taqueria. The food is okay, the service is THE WORST! The lady at the front desk gave our workers a disgusting attitude while they arrived . Mind you we spend over $100 in tacos (which is not a lot but I overheard she talking down to other guys who where also there) . When I placed the order she stated that we all should wore a mask when we walk in (I’m cool with that) we are In the middle of a pandemic. When we sat on the table she asked us to keep our mask on. We didn’t mind we laughed about. CMON WE ALL HAVE BAD DAYS BUT ITS NOT THE CUSTOMERS FAULT.

THEN I TURNED AROUND AND SAW MOST OF THE GUYS IN THE KITCHEN MAKING THE FOOD WITHOUT A MASK! Chatting with each other. I MEAN THATS NOT OKAY, YOU ARE MAKING MY FOOD DUDE!

WHEN I MENTIONED THAT TO THE LADY SHE WENT NUTS, AND DENIED IT. AND JUST GIVE THE HAVE A NICE DAY CARD!!

Avoid this place! Thank you...

Great food but unfortunately horrendous service. Multiple times we've been there only for the waitress to tell us there is a 50min to an hour wait. Today there were only two other tables of people there and it was not busy. I could not understand how she could not serve us as walk in customers telling us that they have to go orders to fill. The restaurant was more than half empty! How does that make sense that you can't serve people in your store because there are to go orders? They somehow prioritize to go orders over customers physically in the store? This has happened multiple times I've gone recently and today I just walked out. Its unfortunate as the food is good but I will never be back. Absolutely rude and disgusting...
