Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Red Bluff

Worst experience ever. I understand they just opened and are brand new BUT the staff there are undertrained and wouldn’t know how to pour water out of a boot if the directions were on the bottom. When I ordered I asked if they had any daily specials and the response I got was “I don’t know it’s only my 5th day” that’s understandable but at least have the common sense to ask another colleague for more info if you don’t know. Whatever, he didn’t know the specials, no big deal. We never got a time of when our pizza would be ready and upon waiting none of the other customers did either. With that, people were getting impatient and irate after waiting for an hour or more. There was this one employee in particular, didn’t catch her name but let’s just call her buck tooth becky, that would just give the customers attitude when being questioned about orders. She was VERY rude and didn’t handle that high stress level very well at all. I had asked, nicely, if she knew if there was an update on my order and she said “I don’t know all I know it it’s taking a long time and rolled her eyes.” Becky if you’re reading this, I don’t think customer service is it for you. So, I’ve only had this pizza 3 times but all three times were amazing. I always get the combination pizza which is called the Everest. Hot, melted cheese, great crust and fresh veggies. Or at least it tastes that way anyway. But the most bizarre thing happened to me yesterday. As I opened my delivered pizza at my table, a huge fly flew out the box. Like, it was the size of pea. I was shocked and speechless and had to wait a few seconds to comprehend what I just witnessed. I was grossed out and annoyed because I was starving and I didnt feel like showering and getting dressed to attempt to get a refund or a new pizza altogether. So I googled to see if I could still eat it and I eventually did. I realize accidents happen but I also want to know how did it happen? Did a worker close the box lid at a turtle’s speed to not scare the fly away? I can’t even get within a foot of a fly before it’s just flies away. Or did they close the lid at ninja speed and the fly just ended up getting trapped? Now, If they were as fast as a ninja how did fly even get near the pizza in the first place? This particular mountain Mike's Pizza has very reasonable pricing. For a 10 inch combination Pizza, two drinks, and a salad (all you can eat), it came out too around $30.

You cannot get that where I come from. Unfortunately, I found the establishment of bit chilly. Maybe that's because I'm from down south. So I won't hold it too much against them. The floors could have been swept a little better or more often.

Other than that, I have to say that I'm supposing it's the owner was very friendly. Very helpful as well.

They have three big screen TVs with different programming. And a small video game center for the kiddos.
