After A hard Day's work, I am really looking for some comfort food. As I drive from my workplace in Waxahachie, Texas, in route to my Dallas hotel room, I search for something fast and tasty to fulfill my hunger and to be honest I wanted to stress eat! Did I mention that it is the end of a 14-hour shift, after standing on my feet all day, and inhaling my lunch. I see the Church's sign (CHURCH'S CHICKEN) as I approach this particular exit. Well I thought, let's go national brand so that I know at least I should get a quick service of comfort food. I walk in, and order my food. I am hungry so I actually order a three-piece meal with corn and coleslaw as my side. (My plan is to take some leftovers to work for lunch tomorrow) I also order the chicken sandwich. Although there is a 12 minute wait on the chicken to be cooked, I decide that the fresh sandwich will be ideal for dinner tonight. The customer service is extremely exemplary.! As a matter of fact as soon as I walked in, the evening crowd rush follows. The young man never lost his composure and continued to process orders, help with the packaging and deliver orders to those waiting at the counter. He did eventually have someone come over and assist him in clearing out the orders. So there is a little wait but it's totally understandable and everyone that is waiting is very patient and wearing masks. Now for my meal.. I wait until I get back to my room and uncover my scrumptious meal The chicken is still warm, as well as the corn. The coleslaw is chilled. The Church's Chicken Sandwich is as succulent as that other place famous chicken sandwich. As you can see the corn had a little issue with it, so I decide not to consume it. The coleslaw was probably aged but it wasn't completely dried out., I did enjoy a bite or two of it with my chicken. Speaking of ....the dark meat chicken thighs were off the chain! Tasty, well seasoned and cooked to perfection! I would definitely go back for the chicken sandwich.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe stopped in and ordered the 16 count mixed chicken to feed 8 people. We got home (15 minute drive) and realized they only gave us 12 pieces. We didnāt have enough to feed our large group. We called and told them what happened. They said to come back with the receipt. We drove back for the other 4 pieces and gave them the receipt. They asked for the meal also. We told them we were only instructed to bring the receipt back and we left the food at home with our family to eat and that if we had brought the whole meal back, they would have to replace it all instead of only giving us the 4 pieces that were missing. They said they couldnāt just give us 4. We told them to call the manager. They agreed and closed the window. They stood in the back laughing at us and didnāt call. We took a video. We pulled around and went inside. They finally called the manager. He told us that they girls did admit to only giving us a 12 piece but that āwe didnāt need to come back for the other 4ā. But we did, because we ordered 16 pieces to feed 8 people. Not a 12 piece. The manager and the employees were so rude and disrespectful, that we left and just got a meal from chicken and express. 1000/10 Do not recommend this...
