Update 12/3/2019: It's been almost 3 years since I've been back to Fiesta Mexicana. For the price we've found Rancho Loco to be far more superior overall.
My original review (posted on Yelp) 1/30/2017:
Went here yesterday for lunch with friends who LOVE the place. This was my first time back to FM in about 12 years. My friends were footing my bill so figured may as well see what they were raving about! The waitress was good - courteous and prompt with drink refills and taking our orders. Our orders came out quickly (I'd say within 5 minutes or so from the time we placed the order). The waitress was concerned that the plates were hot which made false hope of our food also being piping hot. I ordered some sort of beef enchiladas with refried beans and rice. The beef inside the enchiladas was lukewarm at best but had decent flavor. The rice was a little on the bland side but ok. The refried beans, unfortunately, were extremely salty. I saved half of my lunch for lunch for today which prompted me to write a more accurate review here. Still trying to figure out how they managed to not have warm to hot steak filling in the enchiladas as it seemed to be something that sat in a crockpot (or similar) in the back all morning. Not sure if I will go back again. They did offer chips and salsa which was...
Read moreOn a recent visit to Fiesta Mexicana, located in a charming rural town, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food. The complimentary homemade chips and salsa set a welcoming tone right from the beginning.
I ordered the corn tortilla Flautas, and they were delightful, garnished with fresh lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and cheese. My husband's steak burrito was just as satisfying, with a generous filling and great flavor.
The sides of refried beans and Mexican rice were well-prepared and complemented our main dishes nicely. We were pleased with the portion sizes - they were substantial yet appropriate. The cozy and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant was the cherry on top of a very pleasant dining experience.
For anyone in the area, Fiesta Mexicana is a great choice for a taste of authentic Mexican cuisine in a...
Read moreWe usually go here for lunch and it is great, this is the second time we had dinner here and our experience was the same both times. Slow and unatttendent service our food came out in shifts, we had to ask for the tortillas that came with the meals, water glass never refilled. We had to flag down the bus person to get a to go box and ask for our check. We came in with the intentions to have desert but decided against it we did not want to wait a half hour for the waitress to take our desert order. If it was busy I could have understood the service. But there was maybe a dozen tables full in in restaurant. When paying our bill we were not asked how everything was. So I took it upon myself to tell the owner about the poor service, all he had to say was sorry and it was like he did not even mean it. I don’t think I will have...
