I said I wasn't coming back here last year after every time I went the employees would mean at me an act like they didn't want to serve me. It was always this one girl would roll her eyes at me when she would see me but I still would come back an pray she didn't serve me. It all started because she ask me was I going to leave a tip an I said no only because she was so rude to me . I was a Vip Waitress for 10 years I love to tip but not if u mean to me. So fast forward to Friday it was my son 37th birthday an I hadn't eaten waited to see what he was going to do. So he decided not to come to town so I raced to Golden Krust to get my favorite white rice and oxtail gravy. I did know what time they closed. But right has I came to the door the young lady said hurry we are closing I said ok thank you so much. I ask the lady whom look so mean like I was disturbing her was the rice still fresh because the last time I came they gave me some dry hard rice she said it was fresh . She didn't put on any gloves an her hand was near the rice she place in the small container I usually would say something instead I said I would just throw that part away because I was so hungry. But when I asked her for more gravy she said she don't hAve that much an I was getting two small bowls. So I ask her again can she give me some more gravy she said again she don't have that much . I told her I like extra gravy please that's how I can eat it that's how I like it. I went on to tell her I've been craving this an this the only location I come to I had been working all day an didn't know they were closing. If she could just tilt the pan to give me more gravy. She did it one container ban not in the other. The container with more gravy my daughter got an she wasn't even graving this I was . Mind ended up with little gravy an dry with rice. I was so disappointed. I wanted to go back but I didn't. It was the fact I told her I had been craving this an she still would not give me more gravy . I didn't feel like a customer I felt like I was bro bothering her. So even though I desired it again today I made the decision Ive had enough of this location. She don't know how long I had waited to come here an how I passed a whole much of restaurants just to come there only to be treated like I didn't matter an like I wanted an oxtail instead of the gravy I had the money for a dinner but that wasn't what I wanted. I decided today I'm not going back anymorešÆ I went back big mistake Manager only gave me a few scoops of oxtail gravy. When ask for me I got sick felt like someone added something extra . I decided no matter what no more business with this location they don't like me here maybe they think I can't afford a whole plate but I tipped the young lady but I got sick afterwards my sign not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst and foremost I had never been to any of Georgia's locations until today October 11th 2024 at 2:36 pm today. AND BY FAR IT IS NOT WORTH ANY MONEY! I ordered a large jerk chicken plate, where I was told it came with 3 peices of chicken.. which I was fine with.. as I told them that I didn't want rice, but instead extra plantains, and just the cabbage.. and the worker informed me eventually that I could only have extra cabbage, and not the extra plaintains.. as they could not substitute the extra plantains... which was weird to me, because I have never heard of this.. and was tired, and hungry as this was about to be my first meal of the day... and when I asked for a medium coke I was informed they didn't have coke as a fountain drink and only had Pepsi in a can or bottle.... and I was like ooookkay... and ordered the bottled drink.... only to get home and open my box, and be utterly damn disappointed!!!
1 piece of chicken was so boney, despite looking like a peice that had meat on it, I was deceived to the point that peice should not have counted
I was uninformed that I would receive only 2 super small plaintains.. yet if that were the portion... they still choose to not substitute 2 extra small pieces as originally requested instead of giving me extra cabbage
The amount of cabbage was ridiculous as it was also mixed in with corn, green peas, green beans, and lima beans of all things!!... (if I wanted a can of mixed vegetables I would of gone and brought some at Kroger)... AND THE CABBAGE HAD NO FLAVOR COMPLETELY FLAVORLESS AND BLAND!!... my 6 month old wouldn't even nibble on a piece... it felt like I was eating a warm undressed salad
And for the price of $20.12 I could of gone to Zaxby and got a plate, or Popeyes and got a bucket of chicken which would have been worth it... but to day I paid for less than 2 whole peices of chicken, and a joke of plantains, and extra warm salad and a soda is a ripped off. AND APPARENTLY WAS CHARGED 0.52 cents for not wanting rice
I should of looked at the reviews... because I totally want a refund... and I'm born and raised in Florida and know what Carribean food should taste like... and I'm disappointed I...

Long story short she told me they were out of a particular food and went out of her way prepare the same item I had requested for another customer who was in front of me in line. When thy customer got to the register to pay he didnāt have the money for pay for the food so she went out of her way and sneakingly put away the food for that customer who promised to return to the restaurant to pay....now Iām watching this play out right in front of my face...so when I got to the register I said I thought you were out of the food I wanted she said yes, then I said but I just saw you put it away for that customer who just left, she said yes he is coming back with the money...with a confused look on my face I asked her so you are āholdingā food for someone who is supposedly coming back to pay when I asked for the same item and I have be cash in hand to pay...she said yes heās coming back and he ordered before you... and refused to sell me the food. Now the last time I checked we canāt tell the future and she did not know if he was in fact coming back to pay, so she ultimately turned down a paying customer off of a promise to pay...that makes absolutely no business sense. As a business you make money/ revenue when a customer pays for goods with cash not a PROMISE ! Her pay check is based of paying customers not I OWE YOUS ... Her attitude is nasty and rude and ultimately costed this restaurant a regular PAYING customer. The level of service a customer receives at an establishment determines whether or not they will return. I hope the manager or owner of this restaurant is reading this review and makes the necessary changes in order to keep your remaining customers coming back. Take a note from such companies like Chic-Fil-A and Publix, their employees are never giving less than wonderful service thatās why they have...
