I ordered the "home made" corned beef with eggs & homefries $11.99 & added a $1 pancake. The food came pretty fast. As I was taking my 1st couple bites I was struggling chewing on some dried out chewy fatty piece of corned beef the waitress asked how everything was. I did not want to be rude but I already had a napkin in my hand to spit out the corned beef when she came by the table & asked. I tried to swallow it but I couldn't & spit it into the napkin. I said to her I'm sorry but this is the worse corned beef I have ever had in my life. All this is old dried out cold corned beef chunks its not shredded & there's a few dry hash browns mixed in. Corned beef usually has potato chunks I've never seen a very few hash browns mixed in. I further explained the home fried potatoes were hard & cold & so was the pancake cold the butter sitting on top wouldn't even melt. The 2 over easy eggs were perfect. She was very nice & politely asked if she could get me something else. I said yes if it was going to be hot & I ordered a couple eggs home fries & toast $9.95. It was hot. I apologized about the 1st plate & gave her a $20 dollar bill & told her to keep the change & departed. I don't eat out a lot because of this exact reason. I can't justify wasting my money. Its embarrassing to me how these places serve disgusting cold not very edible food & people still pay & seldom communicate to the servers how bad the food was. The line to get in this place can be long at times & I've wanted to try it for a long time but there's no way I would go back after...

Food was very good, just sorry if straight forward. Heard some people walking out saying "That's just a solid breakfast place, not frills and nonsense" (Slightly edited for language) and it's true. I had the Southwest Skillet and it was good, nothing especially fancy, but solidly good. Wife had the house-made Corned Beef Hash with eggs and hash browns that was solidly good and a slightly unique flavor. Fresh ingredients and cooked well. The biscuits and gravy were definitely worth it, best thing we had. Bacon was excellent. And the coffee...oh the coffee...!

Service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Izabellah was awesome, friendly and checked on us repeatedly even though it wasn't her job. She even checked that we liked everything and asked what we ordered. Stephanie gave suggestions that, for some unknown reason, we didn't follow. I would suggest listening because that would probably take the food to 5 stars. Also, the food came out quickly and hot. The staff made us feel like the only diners.

The atmosphere is basically straight up diner, but with a Western / Cowboy twist. Everything was clean. A little in the noisy side, but that's the diner feel. Biggest atmosphere lack was the non-functional train; lost nostalgia there. It has the feel of an upscale cabin in the woods only missing the trees out the windows.

This place was recommended as a favorite of Redding, and we can see why. Will be back and we'll...

I haven’t eaten here in years and the last time I dined in.I had a coworker rave about breakfast here so I strayed away from my usual wonderful breakfast spot and took a chance. I got my flu shot so I’m under the weather so I had breakfast delivered. I opened the container and was shocked. TINY portions! Got the eggs Benedict and one egg was the size of my four fork tongs so basically the yoke. Ordered crispy hash browns and they were a 1/4 cup portion size and were gone in four bites. The hash brown were underdone. Ordered crispy bacon 🥓 and the bacon was limp and rubbery. The English muffins were 1/4 inch thick. No napkins, no salt and pepper, didn’t season I think at all from what you see at other breakfast places , and this was $27 not including tip. Learned my lesson from straying from my favorite breakfast spot. Their portions are enough to feed two people and tastes way better and they listen to your preferences. Very disappointed and will not dine here again not worth the money because it was basically a breakfast sandwich and not a full breakfast as advertised and looked NOTHING LIKE the photos.
