*REVIEW UPDATEREVIEW UPDATEREVIEW UPDATE I am revamping this review. The fact that I am not a fan of Starbucks coffee should not deter anyone from going. I want to share something that happened: A few years back, I had gone through a horrible point in my life. And as odd as this sounds? Starbucks was there. I had lost my mom, six months later found that all three of adult kids were battling heroin addiction, eight months later, my youngest son 22, was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer, he died at twenty four. Then, my marriage fell apart, my grief was to much for my wife I suppose. My grandson whom I have custody of, moved to Red Bluff Ca. and unfortunately, we ended up living in a Motel 6 which happened to be behind a Starbucks. People used the Motel's drive way to avoid a one way turn out of the Starbucks. I sat out daily, with grief and the deepest sorrow I can even explain, and waved at people as they came through the back parking lot, and passed by. At first I guess people thought I was weird, no one would even look at me. But as time went on, they began to smile back and wave. One day, a car stopped. And rolled the window down. It was the STARBUCKS MANAGE! curiosity go the best of him. I told the situation and that I had nothing better to do, and that I just cared about people. We talked a bit, and he left. The next day he came through the back, and he stopped and handed me a bag of Starbucks Breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches which he said they cannot sell after a certain time. It was one of the nicest, most thoughtful things I had experienced in a long while. A couple of days later, another employee came through and had a bag of goodies for us, she had been instructed by that same manager, to stop and see us first before going on to give this food out to other people in need. This was the kindest gesture and my little boy both appreciated that more than he could ever imagine. If you are still out there, Red Bluff location manager, and you drove a black Audi I believe it was, my friend, thank you from the bottom of my heart! And have a wonderful Christmas this year...Starbucks Coffee they were a blessing to us...I will have to try their coffee again. Thank...

Best review represents a huge downgrade.
This Starbucks fails on all accounts. Service is unbelievably slow. 12 minutes to receive a single cup of coffee with nonfat milk. Store is absolutely felty. Filled with flies, while I was enjoying my coffee at my incredibly sticky table vagrants walked in covered in filth and wandered about the dining area. One of them stole merchandise from the cooler. One vagrant was carrying one of those porch lighters that you use to light a barbecue grill, and he kept flicking it activating the flame. I watched other guests sitting there swatting flies off of themselves throughout their entire experience.
They're getting two stars rather than one because the staff were rather friendly. But clearly this Starbucks is a victim of bad leadership and process. There seem to be six or seven people behind the counter in only hive in the dining room, yet no one was keeping the dining room clean. And they are obviously impacted by Starbucks nationwide policy of allowing vagrants free access to their restaurants for lounging...
Read moreVery disappointed in this Starbucks. Today we brought a homeless man into this location and bought him a hot chocolate. Before he could even sit down to enjoy it a security guard called by the employees showed up to throw him out. The security guard who was very rude to us followed us clear to the public sidewalk yelling things about the guy as though he were some kind of animal instead of a human being. This homeless man was fairly clean and decently groomed. To be honest I was stunned by the whole exchange. I know that there are a lot of homeless in Redding but to treat a person like that is unacceptable. There were several patrons that left with us saying they would never be back. The homeless man who's name was Dave had just finished telling us how grateful he was that we were treating him like a human being. I wish I would have gotten the name of the security guard and employees but I didn't. Please I implore you to buy your coffee elsewhere. Please don't support a business that would behave toward...
