Had to do Taqueria Los Dos Amigos again . Located on Churn Creek next to T-Mobile next to Foodmaxx.
I love this place. Super clean, crazy kind and attentive staff, great selection that includes breakfast options. Fountain soda & can/glass options. Salsa bar with pico options and others.
Have I mentioned the customer service ?? I came last night , near closing (940p , 10p closing ) and they had started winding down (due to customer volume within the past hour, on a Friday in Redding , in the shopping district nonetheless). So, my friend and I went elsewhere, but literally no beefs, cause I get it !!
Anyways, came back tonight bc I was awkwardly hungry after floating Hat Creek all day. Got the jumbo burrito last time and fish taco. After checking out the other reviews on this place, I decided on the Chimichanga with carne asada. I don’t really get chimichangas at all.
Did. Not. Disappoint !!!!!! I also couldn’t finish it.
Also, the owner spotted me a complimentary beverage of choice because my friend and I couldn’t get served last night! Amazing
Love this place and can’t wait...
Read moreBeing Mexican and having tasted the chicken burrito, chicken chimichanga, and chicken torta, I would say this is pretty basic in taste. I have tasted much better and it all comes down to the seasoning. The meat tasted like it wasn't seasoned (bland) which really took away from the taste. The chicken was just lightly grilled which may have been the cause of the food being soggy. I saw the cook grilling some beef and it looked like it was frozed square pieces which may be the reason the food gets soggy. My wife had the shrimp taco and she said exactly the same thing. No seasoning and soggy. If the meats were seasoned and grilled more to give you that charring flavor, it would make it much more tastier. I would not come here again as I have tasted much better. The orchata was good though. The salsa bar was also a plus so you can savor all the salsas...
Read moreI’ve already been here three times with my family and a couple of times by myself. This Mexican food spot it is what you would expect to find in a much bigger city very authentic pricing is on point. Extremely flavorful, the carnitas is a bit salty but no biggie, it’s still really good. The rest of their meats are great…I can say that because I’ve tried all of them and yes it was a dream. Today I had a bean, cheese and rice burrito for five bucks it was ridiculously good. This might be my go to burrito especially if you’re trying to watch the amount of red meat consumption. I’m 40 now so I have to pay attention to those things, it sucks but it’s real. Right next to foodmax grocery store you...
