El Delicioso Burrito — Restaurant in Redding

BEWARE!

First of all the front counter worker, the short male Mexican with glasses that took our order was VERY rude, disrespectful and UNaccommodating! HE was irritated that I asked for green sauce as opposed to red sauce, told him the red sauce tends to give me indigestion, he mumbled underneath his breath and walked back in the kitchen and spoke to a woman returning about 45 seconds later saying yeah I can do that but then up charged me $2 without saying. About halfway through waiting a full 20 minutes total for our order dining in my boyfriend finally asked for his drink she gave us our drinks 10 minutes later or food came out and the same rude gentleman said here's your drinks. We've already got them thank you though and he mumbled something else looking at us with anger and asked in the back: "who wants this horchata". We received our plates and it was nothing close to green sauce it look to be a color of yellow mustard seed and it was hotter than Hades! In my experience green sauce is usually been the less hot sauce but I could barely Touch This! I wanted to return my enchilada though I didn't want to hear the flack back from him. Stomach still hurts from me we both ate our food in within 15 minutes stick to our stomachs BAD! I will not ever return...

I decided to take a chance and go with the Adobada Pork plate with corn tortillas. We also got a chimichanga and Carne Asada burrito.

Not only was the pork marinated and seasoned so well, but there was a TON of it in this plate combo. With rice, beans, guac, lettuce, salsa, and tortillas. I could only eat one it was so filling, but it was proper fuel.

The Carne Asada supreme burrito was literally as big if not bigger than my head, and so good.

We just got dinner again last night with 2 Carne Asada supreme burritos and it was SO delicious. They are $10 each, but you get what you pay for. I could only eat 1/4 of my burrito for dinner and save the rest for the next couple days, but my boyfriend finished the whole thing...

I've eaten here before and it was delicious,so the carne asada burrito that was delivered today was disappointing. The carne asada was unseasoned making the flavor of the dirty grill really stand out, several pieces of rock hard inedible steak wrapped inside a rubbery stale tortilla delivered with no salsa or guac. The beans had a big glob of cheese which was not appetizing leaving the rice to stand out as the only tasty portion of the order. Perhaps it was just an off day,or maybe delivery is not the way to go as I've ordered the exact same meal in the past several times and it was delicious. Hopefully next time I'm able to leave a better review but the food received today was...
