Croffle Craze Cafe — Restaurant in Redding

What a LOVELY place! 10/10 would recommend. Normally, I forget to write a review, but I truly felt like this place deserved one.

The food is AMAZING! Everything is so flavorful and beautifully plated. This was my friend's and my first time here, and we decided to try 3 savory croffles, 3 sweet croffles and 2 of their specialty coffee drinks. For the coffee, we got the blended coconut latte and the honey lemon black coffee. For the savory croffles, we got the smoked salmon egg and avocado croffle, the chicken curry croffle, and the ham turkey, cheese, and corn salad croffle. For the sweet, we got the green tea croffle, mixed berry croffle, and the ube croffle. It was kind of a long wait since there was a lot of orders ahead of us, but while we waited for our order, we were given a taster of their green tea/thai tea soft serve-ice cream. (So delicious) Once we got our order, they informed us that they threw in a free chocolate banana croffle!! We decided to eat out food outside since they were about to close, and while we were outside, enjoying our little spread of croffles and coffee, one of the ladies brought us out two thai teas. Best customer service, ever! We were very grateful for our free chocolate banana croffle and our free Thai teas. It was very tough to pick a favorite because everything was so delicious, but out of the 7 croffles we tried, both of our favorites were the green tea croffle and the chicken curry croffle. I just discovered an incredible restaurant at the end of Canby Rd in Redding—Croffle Craze! Walking in, I had no idea what to expect, but I was immediately impressed by the beautiful, comfortable space that’s so well-decorated and maintained. It’s such a fun spot for lunch! I finally visited with my best friend to check out this cafe that opened a year ago, and I’m so glad we did!

The food is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. Ordering is a breeze with the kiosk, and the menu offers a wide variety of options that makes each visit exciting. As huge fans of Asian cuisine—Korean BBQ, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indian—you name it, we love it!—Croffle Craze has an impressive selection of both sweet and savory croffles. For those unfamiliar, a croffle is essentially a croissant made in a waffle iron. Everything is made fresh to order with high-quality, healthy ingredients that will leave you wanting more. Also to be clear it’s not just asian foodie goodies but quite a variety of also amazing sandwiches like the smoked salmon Croffle sandwich 🥪 my favorite !

My hunny an I decided to try this place out and we were super impressed. I got the smoked salmon waffle sandwich and my hunny got the spam waffle sandwich. We were welcomed with a smile and while we were waiting for our food they brought us samples of their matcha soft serve which was deliciously sweet. We both really enjoyed the corn salad on both sandwiches and we also ordered the Carmel macchiato iced with oatmilk and the coffee with orange juice. If you have a sweet tooth the caramel macchiato was the perfect amount of sweetness with a sweet cream soft top. The coffee with orange juice was made with fresh oranges and did not disappoint it had the citrus tartness with medium roast coffee but the orange juice gave the coffee a little sweetness. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, the color pop design in their decor was very pleasing and fun to look at. Overall if you’re in Redding and looking to support a local business definitely stop by to check it out! We can’t wait to try their sweet waffle...
