Burger King — Restaurant in Redlands

The food was great, but my praises stop there, unfortunately. I've never had an issue with this location before today, but today was too bad to ignore.

They had an AI try to take my order, I say try because it was very pushy and kept cutting me off and didn't like to work with any customization (at a place that says "have it your way" that is pretty bad). After it cut me off twice and took forever between prompts I asked to order with a real person instead.

The staff also told me that everything was in the bags, but when I checked my order of half-sies wasn't there.

They did apologize and give me my missing food once I went in and mentioned it, but even without the missing food the AI experience was so bad and off brand that it makes me want to avoid this BK location in the future.

Side note: They asked me to back up, presumably to help drive thru times. I have no issue doing this at most places, but given how terrible the experience was trying to order from the AI, I was hesitant to help because that is what made the whole ordeal...

Ok, did I still eat most of the sandwich? Yes. We're out (family of 6), hungry as heck and I'm not about to get back in the line. Now, normally, the quality of the burgers is good. I also usually only get Whoppers from here so perhaps my bad for trying something new and seemingly healthier than beef. Anyway, about a third...no, one quarter of the chicken sandwich was over cooked/heated. The rest of the sandwich was trash. I got the $6 box that comes your choice of sandwich. I.e., Whopper, crispy or spicy chicken sandwich. It also comes with a small fry - also trash since I really only got about 6 good fries out of the box - which looked like I got the scraps that we're at the bottom of the fry basket. Small drink and two cookies. Now I know there's no such thing as quality junk food but damn, the cookies could have been used as ninja stars. We were very busy and starving. We went in the drive thru to grab some food and go home. We came here specifically because they serve Impossible Burgers. At the speaker I ordered 4 meals all exactly the same. After hearing my order, the employee just said, "total at the window". When we got to the window (we were behind two other cars) she said the total was $12 and change. I said, "for all four meals?" She was completely confused. I held up four fingers and said I ordered FOUR meals all the same. She huffed and rolled her eyes and turned back to re-enter our order. She brought 3 drinks to the window, said the total was now $36 and change and did I order the same drink on all 3 meals. After a moment of stunned silence, I just said yes, paid, and left. The food was hot, but the fries left a greasy after-taste implying the oil is old. Yeah, not...
