Read moreI haven't been to this peets in awhile. Know they got a new store manager and wanted to give it another chance. I don't live close to a peets coffee so and it's a really wonderful treat when I do get to have it. So today, I went in so excited to get my favorite drink. The guy taking the order seemed confused but entered it correctly. As the barista finished making my drink put it on the counter, and called it out. I asked does this have 3 scoops of dutch coco, his response was "No, it has 2 because 3 would be just ridiculous and be like slush ... I'm sorry, did i not order and pay $6.00 for this drink, who are you to tell me that's not how I like my drink. Never again will I go to this peets coffee. The one in green lake gas much better service and ALWAYS makes my drink right, without being rude. I left so upset and in tears over something so silly. But I was so excited to finally get my very favorite drink. 5 hrs later and I'm still upset, to the barista in the beanie today, you need to learn customer service. Very...
Read moreI had been visiting 1-2x/wk consistently for a couple months because I'm from the Bay so I love Peet's. I always made it a point to tell staff members how much I appreciated having Peet's in the area. Even though I tried to make conversation with the staff and learn their names, they never seemed to recognize me because staff turnover is really high. They have dog treats inside so I always assumed it was dog friendly. I had been bringing my dog in for a few minutes just to pick up a coffee; the other patrons seemed to enjoy her company. Last weekend, though, a staff member asked me if she's a service animal. You're not really allowed to ask that? I said no (technically she is but I didn't have her papers and didn't want to argue) and waited outside in the cold while my husband ordered for us. This really stinged... I have bought probably 40 coffees from this place, they never recognize me, and they're just now deciding to enforce a dog policy (of which there is no...
