Had a amazing lunch with my wife here today 3/6/24. 2nd time eating from Yi's Wok since trying it for the 1st time with a to-go order a couple weeks ago and DEFINITELY found my go to place for Chinese food! šš„° We moved out to C.O. from the valley about 18 months ago and couldn't find good Chinese food until now. We were greeted warmly by the waitress that took great care of us throughout our meal. The food was hot and so fresh, with vegetables cooked to perfection and my Twice Cooked Pork was so flavorful𤤠My wife had the Cashew Chicken as that was a winner from our very 1st time trying Yi's Wok.š We both loved the Fried Rice as it wasn't all dried out like at other restaurants we've tried in Redmond. We were dining in for lunch and I had asked if we could also put in a to-go order midway through our meal as the Birthday Girl (my wife) and I would be eating Chinese for dinner, too.š The waitress told my wife Happy Birthday and said that wouldn't be a problem. We got so full from our lunch and had leftovers and while our to-go order was being prepared, the wonderful women working there came out and made my wife feel very special. šš¶š°š„° It was totally unexpected and touched me to see that the staff made a 1st time dine in customer feel noticed on her special day.š I hope everyone will generously tip these women because I noticed them all work hard to take care of their customers and keeping up on cleaning after customers were done. I like to tip well for great service and this visit was very well appreciated. Yi's Wok will now have a loyal regular anytime we are in Redmond as we would make the trips from our place 25 miles away if we are ever craving some FANTASTIC Chinese food! Thanks Yi's Wok and the lovely ladies working today that made this day a very happy one!āļøš„°āāāāā UPDATE: 3/6/25 Just had another amazing birthday dinner here at Yi's Wok for my wife Michelle this evening. The staff is so kind and amazing! Our waitress is always a sweetheart whenever we come here and she overheard me say it was my wife's birthday, so after we were done with our meal, the servers came to our table with a treat and sang happy birthday. š„° We REALLY appreciated how our waitress had the kind thought to do this for extra thing for Michelle's birthday.š Thank you to the entire staff at Yi's Wok this evening for a great...

For a single person on a budget, i find it hard to recommend unless you are getting a lunch special for around $8, otherwiseĀ $10-15 a plate makes it hard to squeeze it in the budget. Although i have to say, the atmosphere is perfect for a date. Clean interior, minus the windows, which haven't been cleaned in a couple days. Fun music i couldnt understand, but the tempo was pleasent, and almost sounded like "still alive" by glados.
As for the food, i got the chicken curry (spicy) lunch special, came with a side of egg flower soup and a spring roll. i also ordered the iced tea, for tea, in my opinion was weak and not worth the $2. Veggie spring roll was decent, freashly cooked so it was a bit hot. The pork fried rice was a little overcooked, but had great flavor. Curry was great, and spicy as advertized, only complaint, is it was quite salty. Portioned large enough to share if you want.
The plate came within 10min of ordering, it came hot and smells wonderful. the staff is friendly and helpful, good recommendations. Since i was taking my time it felt like i was being rushed. Halfway through my meal i was asked if i wanted a box and was handed the check, if the place wasn't empty this is completely normal for a resteraunt.
So my review ends here; food 3.5, service 3.5, cleanliness and atmosphere 2.5, and with it being the only place i have found that offers a decent curry in redmond(so far), im just going to round this up to a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām from Southern California and grew up near china town with really good Chinese food. We have been disappointed over and over again. But we found out that Yiās wok has new owners and delivers to our home in Redmond. We were so pleasantly surprised. We ordered chicken Lo Mein, chicken chow fun, beef with broccoli, war wonton soup. The only thing I wonāt order again is the war wonton, and itās just because Iām so spoiled with handmade delicate wontons, these ones just werenāt my favorite and not enough broth. But everything else was great!! Super stoked to try more things. Sorry we didnāt get pics, Chinese food never photographs well! Go support them!! They clearly care and itās reflected in their food, also very generous portions! We also have a sign in our door asking not to knock because the dog will bark and wake the baby and they respected it, dropped the food at the door and sent me a text!! We were so happy with our experience, and so grateful to have their restaurant in town! We will be ordering at least...
