El Baja Chef — Restaurant in Redondo Beach

I am not local so I found this place by the coast I wanted to try their fish tacos. Got there and their was only one waitress serving everyone around us. So after waiting almost 30 minutes we told the waitress that we were ready to order. We ordered some chips and salsa and took for ever to get them. Some other people that were their way after us got their food fast and served. I was at that time I was very hungry and disappointed that we haven’t even got our food out yet. So I told the manager what was happening and he just blown us away. So we just got up and payed for our drinks and walked out. Very bad customer service. Watched the rugby world cup 2023 here while attending Beachliferanch festival. This was the only place we could find in the area that screened the game. In fact, the owner went through a lot of trouble and even subscribed to Peacock to get it showing! Very, very few people will make that level of effort, and with a big smile. A smaller place somewhat hidden between the flashy places next door, it has great atmosphere, sport screens, heartfelt service, reasonably priced food compared to others in same spot, and cold crisp drinks. The food was awesome, but even greater was the kindness from the manager and service staff. My sister has special needs and they were so wonderful making a dish that was perfect for her.
