1. New girl sorta....uh. New. 2. Fries with no ketchup. What is this a new trend. If someone orders fries or tots you give them ketchup. You don't need to put 50 packs in there but give them a couple packs of ketchup for God's sakes if they don't use it oh my gosh you lost a couple packets of ketchup but at least you don't screw the guy that likes to catch up on his fries pretty much the majority of America I would assume 3. The lettuce on fish sandwich . Pic says it all. 4. If you order soup and ask for silverware they give you a packet with salt pepper a fork and a knife I guess you're supposed to somehow melt the fork down using the salt and melt the knife into the melted Fork to create suction or just pick up the cup and dump it in your mouth but if you sell somebody soup it would be courteous to sell them a spoon to partake in the soup Adventure. I mean the place is called dive bar what do you want Right. Fish sandwich was tasty after I remove the nasty lettuce I will only be eating a few fries probably dipping them in my soup because I don't have a spoon or ketchup. And as far as the new girl she'll get it I'm sure.

On the one hand, this place is aptly named. It is part sports bar, part dive bar. Hard walls and floors, TVs and semi-obnoxious music played a bit too loud. ON THE OTHER HAND... the menu is expansive! I was not prepared for the variety and interesting selections, and had trouble making a choice, so much looked good. A real dive bar has mayo and ham, but they have aioli and prosciutto. And it is GOOD food, and good drinks, too. The wait staff is attentive and not intrusive. The batter-fried food features a light batter and great fry temperature so it is crispy and not at all oily. The sandwiches were great, good ingredients, the bread was perfect. I want to try more... So don't let the name scare you off, check this place out!

My server was very nice and attentive. My food was delicious! This time I had pizza egg rolls and Reuben fries. Both were so good. I thought I'd be able to make it through all of my egg rolls. Nope. They were so crunchy and cheesy!!!! The fries were cooked perfectly. Cole slaw on point. The next time I order this dish I will ask for more Cole slaw, cheese, and dressing, and probably less or no meat. The meat was good, but a little too salty for me. Overall, I definitely recommend.

Went to this location for my birthday with family. It was the worst experience anyone could have had!!! Five us where in the restaurant, just the five of us!! Seated ourselves, the host gave us menus and was very friendly, the waitress said she was new...then the BS started. 2 of us ordered a cocktail, the Passion Fruit mimosa was soooo sweet it wasn't drinkable; the regular margarita that the "new" waitress made was absolutely horrible; she said she followed the directions and made the basic margarita with orange juice and sours, the mix was aweful! I ordered an appetizer; it was the Short Rib Quesadilla and Moz Balls. 3 others also ordered 'tizers; the 4th person wasn't there yet. within 20 minutes the 4th guest showed up right at the time the appetizers were brought out that 3 of us ordered; she didn't bring out mine and remember i ordered mine first and the others ordered at least 10 minutes after i did. our 5th guest arrives at the same time the appetizers come out. she then orders an appetizer. we wait another 20 minutes, by this time i'm asking about the appetizers that i ordered almost an hour prior. In the interim, 3 other people in my party ordered off the menu again to dine in and to take out! We kept asking wassup with the food. we were told that the cook has a $700 order that he has been working on for hours - We were left sitting there for over an hour waiting on 3 appetizers and 4 entrees. There was NO manager on site and the poor new waitress did everything she seemed like she could to assist. Nothing works when you get inexcusably lower than poor service. Needless to say, we left with a less than satisfactory attitude. I have also been to the location in Lawrenceville, and they too have suck ass service. They have this one waitress that has a very smart mouth and unprofessional demeanor and has gotten into verbal altercations with countless patrons. They obviously do not care who they employ and do not care about some of their customers! ...

I will admit, I kinda miss Ryan's. That's what this place was before. Ryan's- a dirty lil' neighborhood bar, with a smoking patio, and out of date paint job, with shot specials from the 80's.

There was a hot second where someone was trying to turn it into a cocktail lounge, which was one of the most misguided reads of a neighborhood ever. Be glad that didn't happen.

On the positive side, I would have never, ever ordered food at Ryan's, because it was not anyone's idea of clean. Dive proves it's not really a dive at all by being clean and having good food.

Now, it's clean, and comfortably lit, with a nice selection of craft beer. There's no smoking. No internet jukebox blaring away with someone's bad taste in music. The draft lines are clean. No graffiti. I'm not a big fan of the auto tune music that sometimes is playing, but it could be way worse. There are a lot of TV's, but the staff is generally very nice. I can come here after a hike in Frick Park. How is this a bad plan?

It's not a dive. Dives are supposed to be adorably scary. I'd take my mother in law here for lunch.

The staff seems to have changed over a few times throughout the pandemic, but that's not really surprising. The surprise is that despite the changes, the place has improved noticeably. I think the current staff care more than previous crews, so...

Awful. After being regulars, we stopped ordering from Dive Bar (Regent Square) because they consistently left items off our takeout orders. After about a year, we decided to give them another try tonight, buy it was worse!

The order was 30+ min late, and 3 of 4 items were wrong. My Loco Moco was missing the egg, onion straws, scallions and cheese, which is more than half the ingredients. The kids burgers, and I'm not exaggerating, had patties about the size of a quarter, and only a little thicker. The kids pasta container was less than half full, when it's usually full. Actually, we're pretty sure the Cobb Wrap was missing an ingredient, too, though it was less obvious.

When I got there, the staff was completely ignoring the three customers waiting for takeout orders. When the food finally came, they stuck it on a shelf behind the bar and made no attempt to figure out whose it was, adding to the delay. The manager made excuses, and gave a token discount that was inadequate since I was now leaving 45+ minutes late, and most of the food was cold by now. To top it off, the staff openly bad mouthed the takeout customers who left before me upset over the delay. I can only imagine what they...
