I’m beyond frustrated that I even have to write this, but after three weeks of waiting and being ignored by management, I’ve had enough. My friend and I came in about three weeks ago and had an absolutely awful experience. The girl at the front was kind and helpful, but that’s where the positives end. We ordered two chicken sandwiches—the Bird and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich—and both were completely raw.My friend took one bite, immediately spit it out, and went to the counter to get a replacement. No big deal—until I took a bite of mine and realized it was the same disgusting, undercooked mess. When I brought mine back, the guy at the counter had the audacity to argue with me, insisting it wasn’t raw because he’d “had it a million times.” I told him he was welcome to take a bite himself. At first, I wasn’t even planning to ask for a refund, but after that ridiculous argument, I felt it was completely necessary. If the situation had been handled properly, this wouldn’t have been a big deal. Mistakes happen—but the way it was handled was unacceptable. And when you’re paying $30 for a fast food meal, the absolute least you expect is properly cooked food and decent service. Management assured me I would be refunded, yet three weeks later, nothing. I’ve called three times, been promised action, and still, no refund. At this point, I’m ready to walk in and demand my money back in person. This place is a joke. Raw chicken, argumentative staff, and management that refuses to take responsibility. I will never be...
Read moreSo this one is going to be shorter than my other reviews. There's not much to say.
I got the "Cowboy Burger" with regular fries and a drink. It comes with, 1/3 lbs Ground-beef patty with lettuce, tomato, pickles, smoked cheddar, flame-grilled jalapeños, with a squirt of BBQ sauce, on a brioche bun. Needless to say, it was just okay. Not an outstanding product, lacked in diversity in terms of flavor for the ground beef, aka seemingly unseasoned. The fries were also okay, they lightly, very lightly, seasoned it with salt, and topped it with some green onion snips.
They have other types of meat to serve; Elk, Chicken, Turkey, Fish, and even Bison. I've had the Bison BBQ burger before, and Bison just isn't for me. I had a taste of the Elk Burger and it was better than the Bison.
Honestly, this place isn't bad. However, I just don't feel like the flavors I was provided were that significant to separate themselves from other family owned burger joints. They also had fairly decent customer service, and our food came in a timely manner.
Would I ever eat here again? If I'm on that side of town and am craving a burger, maybe.
Would I recommend it? Only if you've never had it, as you might...
Read moreHALF OF A LARGE FRENCH FRY... This is my first time going to the BURGER ME in South Reno. I have went to the one in West Reno a few times and I am a big fan of the French fries. I always order a large french fry. The one in West Reno gives me a large french fry filled all the way to the top of the bag. I decided to try the one out in South Reno for my first time because I actually live in the Virginia City Highlands and that one's much closer. I ordered a large french fry and it was only half full. I'm not going to give a one-star review because this is my first time ordering however if this happens again I will give a one-star review. If you're going to charge like $6 for french fries I think it should be an entire bag of french fries as you ordered. Maybe someone made a mistake or maybe this is a off day. Just saying if you order a large french fry you should get a large french fry and if the other location in West Reno is giving you a full large french fry I think it's important that the location in South Reno can do the same thing these french fries are not...
