Fire Wings — Restaurant in Reno

Don't even waste your money for extra crispy. We have been here dine-in 6 times and always my wings comes out still have blood in bones. Today,Superbowl Sunday we ordered a takeout and I have to double check if it's extra crispy. I asked the hostess if they can refry it because it's not crispy. The cooked came out and said he can't refry it because of the sauce.He offered to reimburse the extra crispy charge but I refused it's what I ordered and should be getting it. He just give me back the the wings because he can't helped me. My husband and i have no choice but to take the chicken wings as of we have limited time before heading to our home. I worked in the food Industry for 6 years as line cook and knew what a products should look like.I also have servesafe certification. I understand that it's hard to hire people but as a business owner you need to retrain your crew specificially handling food. Undercooked chicken may be contain salmonella that can make your consumer sick as of your crew serving it. Served to me .I tried to communicate with your crew but denied my request. We will not be back again after our 7th...

Salt. SO much salt. I rarely leave reviews, but I was disappointed enough trying Fire Wings at the Reno Summit location tonight to say something. I’m rating it 2 stars because my husband and teen had a decent experience. So I’ll give them that. Myself, I ordered a 3 strip combo with Jamaican Jerk rub with honey mustard dipping sauce and regular fries. The strips were good in size. Glad I only ordered 3. It arrived to the table plenty hot - so I started with the fries. The fries were so salty I could only eat a few. Once the strips cooled off enough I was excited to dig in! Unfortunately even though the seasoning was good enough flavor wise, all I continued to taste was salt. I ate 1 and a half of the strips and just couldn’t do anymore. Bummer! I came home still a bit hungry. Normally I give places a few tries. In this case, however, not sure I’d bother to go back.

*update…after reading more reviews if I did go back I’d try some of the Asian options and the peanut sauce. But only if it’s convenient before a movie next door...

So came in for lunch expecting a great environment and boom super dull and dead employees seem inconvenienced by me ordering food like I interrupted there talk about life, so I ordered the Chicken Sandwich she asked what flavor I said Nashville Hot she said oh sorry we haven’t had that in a few years but it’s in there menu I asked for blue cheese was also told they don’t have it. Got my Sandwich and for $14 this has to be a joke I think KFC serves a better sandwich the cooks were all sitting out at the counter when I walked in so as a overall experience I would have to give this place a honest review of 1 Star ⭐️ if your gonna be a business in Reno area do better service and make better food it’s almost borderline...
