Bought a ring back in January 2020, had it sized up to what we needed and within a week of my girlfriend wearing the ring the ring had lost 2 diamonds and completely lost its shape. Jaredās did offer to order a new ring direct from the manufacturer which was nice, was due to arrive April 22, and then COVID happened. Once the store reopened I called on April 20 to follow up on the delivery of the ring, I was quickly told by Traci that it was out of their hands and I needed to call customer service. I waited another 2-3 weeks and again was told the same thing, I assumed I would just get a call when it finally came in. Fast forward to June 23 and I had bought my girlfriend an engagement ring, again sized up and picked up on June 25 with no issues. I decide to email Traci at the Summit location on July 25 and again ask if the ring had arrived. Come to find out the ring had been there since June 17 and no attempt was made to contact me, despite being in the store twice between those dates. When I finally bring this all to Stacey the store manager, I finally get an apology and says she will get back with me to let me know what they can do to make it right, 3 1/2 weeks goes by with no calls or emails so I call her back and am quickly offered 20% off when I tell her itās ridiculous that it took almost 4 weeks to get an answer to something she put together in 2 seconds she then begins to start trying to talk over me and yells at me over the phone that I am not letting her talk. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had at a place that you would expect to receive top notch service with the money spent. This store feels cheap and very unprofessional! The last two times we've been in, they have treated us so poorly, keep in mind my fiance is spending a lot of money on my engagement ring here! The "general manager" did nothing but argue with us today unnecessarily! She was talking down to us, she was very condescending, rude, and so unprofessional! My fiance was explaining to the general manager, very calmly, information he was told last time we were there and she had the nerve to tell him to "take a step back"... I'm in shock at how we were treated and talked to especially because we are paying customers, but that shouldn't matter, that is not how u treat anyone when that is ur job! We literally had to tell her that she is ruining this experience for us! It's our engagement and this should be a very special time and now we dread going to the store because she literally ruined our day! It used to be pleasant going to jared's and the last general manager who took care of us was so nice, she was a big reason we chose Jared's! If this new general manager was our first impression 6 months ago when we were picking out a ring, we would've walked right out the door and Jared's would have lost our business all together! We usually meet here after dark to either drop off or pick up family or friends when not wanting to drive all the way into Reno itself. Today of course it was the afternoon and they just happen to be open. If you have not experienced a full service jewelry store you have no idea on a jewelry store with customer service beyond expectations! I would recommend this place with a 10 star system if I could. Joe was the absolute cutest young man with such knowledgeable skills at such a young age! His manager (dark short hair, Iām so sorry I forgot her nameš£) was just the icing on the cake! They gave me the best information as to where I should go for my gold exchange, fixed me up with a free cleaning of my jewelry, gave me an estimate on a repair and then helped me window shop with a lot of customers in the store! They treated me like a rock star that was spending a million bucks (unfortunately I was not)! But they had no problem with me leaving without a purchase. I will definitely return here when I get my gold exchanged to buy my new jewelry here ! I feel confident knowing that my grandkids will be able to come here when Iām long gone to exchange/ rather discounted for another piece of their choice, because their jewelry never loses its value !
