Del Taco — Restaurant in Reno

I waited 40 minutes for an order with about six items. Order was placed at the speaker and they said "okay" then I get to the window and they said they don't have my order. So I need to pull around the building to wait for it. Okay, already annoying the order wasn't ready after twenty minutes. But I'll go ahead and wait again. 20 more minutes go by, nothing. I call the store and they say they actually wanted me to go through the drive thru again, not park and wait for them to hand it to me like every other fast food restaurant does for guests when they are behind on your order. Mind you, the doors are locked so I couldn't just walk in and grab my order. Not one employee thought to look out the window and see my car parked lights and engine running wasting my gas, time and money for almost an hour for something so simple. The food was just sitting there getting cold while they just couldn't care less to check. I'm not an angry person, but this experience felt so...

I don't normally do reviews but I feel the need to prevent other people from having the experience I just did. Went to this Del Taco location last night at about 6:15 and ordered a large fry and a macho burrito. I had been working all day and hadnt had an oppurtunity to eat and still had a long drive home ahead of me. When I pulled over to eat the fries were soggy and tasted weird. The burrito was poorly made and had a weird taste as well. Within an hour I was violently vomiting into my toilet. I wanted to give the food the benifit of the doubt but this morning I'm now experiencing some diahreah. Ive very clearly had a case of food poisoning. This isn't the first time I've had problems with this location either. I like Del Taco but I would recomend extreme caution to eating at this one in particular. Went on Dec 9th. Used the drive thru. We were the 3rd car in lone when we arrived. It took 20 minutes to order and get food. The drive thru attendant was very rude and unprofessional. She kept telling us to hold on. And told me that strawberry lemonade doesn't come with meals........what?? When we finally got our food, she just kept saying "here!" When handing me the items. She practically through the bag of food out of the window. The fries were completely cold. We ordered the 8 layer veggie burrito. It definitely was not 8 layers. All that was tasted was sour cream and beans. It ended up being thrown away. We also ordered the epic guacamole burrito. It was also completely cold.
