Mugshots espresso — Restaurant in Reno

I had to stop by here because of the name of the establishment. I thought it was a great name and I wanted to support the business because of that. It was kind of hard to figure out how to pull up at first so I reversed in (don't do that) and that lady who helped me was super cool. The entrance to actually off continental (I believe is the street name). I drew a directions on a picture, which I'll post. Anywho, the lady who was working there was chill, nice and cool with recommending drinks. I liked her personality and she seemed to have a genuine smile while helping us... and I take five-ever to make choices, so her good attitude was appreciated. I got a white pistachio mocha and my nephew got a caramel frappuccino. He liked his drink and I liked mine a lot more than the Starbucks version of a pistachio something or another. You can actually taste the pistachio flavor with this drink. So this place definitely deserves its 5 stars. I really wasn't sure what to expect, I just liked the name and I'm glad...

First time visit and was not disappointed. My daughter had recently discovered Mugshots and had been having about it for 2 weeks. I ordered a decaf Java Chip Frappe, a decaf Nutella Mocha Frappe, and a Hibiscus Cooler with Watermelon (per the barista's suggestion). All three were fabulous. My 11 year old loved his Nutella Mocha, the Java Chip was exactly what I was craving (and dove into immediately), and my non-coffee hubby enjoyed the Hibiscus Cioler as an alternative to iced tea. Pricing is comparable to Starbucks, but supporting a local business trumps a franchise...

I absolutely love this coffee house and think it's a hidden gem. The owner is the sweetest person ever (bring your dog and she gives them lovely treats!), and my coffee has been pretty consistent across the other baristas. They use really high quality ingredients, and you can tell in the taste of both the coffee and flavorings. I think my ONLY downside is that this is just a drive-thru/walk-up business, and I would love to have this coffee and do work in an actual coffee shop. (Not the biggest deal though! I will gladly drink this coffee in my car and at my house...
