A little over two weeks ago my friend told me that I should try this Chicago Pizza with a Twist. I finally decided to, I had the wrong address (an old friends address) in my google account and didnāt realize it until after I made the order. I did realize it almost immediately, but neither google nor door dash (who was delivering my pizza) would allow me to change the address to my correct address. So I called the restaurant and spoke with them. They wrote down my address and gave it to the delivery guy who assured them heās get it to meā¦he did not. I did however receive a picture of my pizza āsafelyā on the ground in front of this friends address. Door dash did not even ring my friends apartment. So I tried to get a hold of the dasher with no luck, he would not answer his phone. I thought ok, perhaps there was someone down on their luck that needed a good dinner. I hope they enjoyed it! Wait! I called the store again and let them know what the door dasher did. They offered me a refund or a pizzaā¦I chose the pizza! I had more friends tell me Chicago Pizza with a Twist is the best, so I was not going to give up. The next night they delivered a delicious pizza. Funny thingā¦I do not like pizza, but loved this! It was their garlic chicken pizza. Their white sauce is amazing! I have not been feeling well so the next night I tried their butter chicken pizza and their beef and lamb kabob. Their tandoori sauce on their beef and lamb pizza is hands down the best Iāve had!! The butter chicken pizza is awesome too, the beef and lamb kabob pizza with medium spicy chilies was by far one of the best pizzas Iāve hadā¦probably top 2 or 3!!! I am so glad that I did not give up because of 1 not so great experience, the service here is amazing! This South Virginia Street Chicago Pizza with a Twist made a customer for life and I canāt wait to try the rest of their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI often get out of meetings late at night in this part of town and Pizza Twist is one of my favorite places to get dinner after 9:00. The samosas are far from my favorite in town with a tough crust, but they are well stuffed, flavorful, and available late. The pizzas are consistently decent quality and have a great variety of toppings. The pasta tends to be well cooked and well portioned. This seems to be family run, so service can be a little casual about who is doing what. This isnāt really a downside though since the experience has never been bad and the staff have always been friendly and attentive. Iād say the one major downside is the location. The restaurant is in the building of an econolodge and looks a little like a bar from the outside. This can make is hard to find and discourage my friends who donāt go to bars from coming in. Overall, I love Pizza Twist. Iām very grateful to have someplace open late in this part of town with good vegetarian options and would recommend anyone looking for a late bite to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis pizza place in the Econo Lodge lobby isn't bad, but you can tell they're really nervous about pouring drinks haha - the girl asked us to go sit down so we wouldn't watch her from the bar where we had ordered. She was VERY carefully using a jigger to measure as if it was hydrochloric acid or something! It's a chain called Pizza Twist, it's unique and not bad.
Edit: Thank you for the note, but we enjoyed everything and were kind of entertained by the bartending. I should have better explained: the three stars was more based on how expensive the drinks were, and that the flavor was so different that we don't think it would be a thing we would go back a second time - more of a thing to try once for the experience. Also, the Lodge is a pretty unclean place, so it makes customers assume the whole building is dirty. I'll add a star because those working that night...
