Semenza's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Reno

Simply amazing, by far the best wings I've had in town. I usually order the nitro wings the flavor is definitely there, and the heat well it cleared my sinuses and got a sweat going. There pizzas are awesome with fresh ingredients and spices and a perfect crust. The garlic knots are on point, they're crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside and you can taste the fresh garlic. Also give there sandwiches a try they're excellent and made how you want them I go with the pesto sauce on mine, after you try one though you might as well say goodbye to subway. Lastly the staff, some of the nicest, coolest most down to earth people I've met in a very long time they really make you feel right at home. And if your a sports fan they always have a game on and they serve beer, and for those who don't know its a 49ers hang out ....great place to watch the game and eat some truly amazing food with some awesome people . Something that until I started going there I thought was lost to the world of fast food and restraunt chains. Good job guys and I will keep...

We decided to stop in woe lived in this area as teens .now married over 40 years, we hadn't visited what was a local fav in the 80s, lol. Still, as we remember food wise, as in taste but rhis place is a total dive the same old tables and chairs a floor covered with trash and uncleaned tablfes served af glass of water no ice waited 30 mins for order of wings . They sent the happiest guy fro. Behind the cou ter to let us know they were out of nitro wing sauce and asked what else we wanted as he dropped off our basket of knots . The waitress/ food ser c er passed our table 4 times, never stopping to see if we needed any drink refill yet hit both tables on each side of us the glares from Mr . Happy continued our whole stay . Was he offended when i asked what else we could order since he was out of sauce or just not a happy camper? I'll wait another 60 years plus before Id ever enter this dump on Neil Road again, nor would I ever recommend it.blah blah blah! 🙄 ...

Their prices are unreasonably high except for the Bob special. Forget the wings. They're far too expensive considering what you get. While everything's tasty, it's not worth $75 to feed four people. They put fewer and fewer toppings on their pizza. Good luck getting more than 15 slices of pepperoni on an extra large. Hamburger and sausage toppings are almost non existent on their pieces. I deducted a star because THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE. I know the store is open. Most of the time it will ring and ring and then go to a mailbox that's always full. I've eaten on and off at Semenza's for 30 years. I take no joy in writing this review. I'll revisit them in a few months and update my review if things change for the better. They can do better and should or this Reno institution will have to shut its...
